Molly-Mae Hague struggling as Tommy Fury constantly away amid pregnancy journey
Molly-Mae Hague has admitted that she sometimes has to remind boyfriend Tommy Fury that they’re having a baby together due to the up and coming boxer spending a lot of time away from his pregnant partner.
Molly-Mae and Tommy, who met on Love Island in 2019, shared the joyful news earlier this year that they’re expecting their first child.
While the prospect of becoming a mum in the not-so-distant future is very real for pregnant Molly-Mae, 23, Tommy, also 23, “sometimes forgets” they have a baby on the way.
“Other women have these dream pregnancies where they are always with their husband doing baby shopping and doing cute things, and like, me and Tommy literally just communicate through FaceTime at this point," Molly shared in a recent iFL TV interview.
"I think because he's been away so much, I feel like he sometimes forgets. I have to remind him that I'm two months away from giving birth – you know, we're going to have a child. I think he sometimes has to be reminded a little bit because he's away in camp-land."
During the chat, the expectant mother also teased what she’d considered naming their baby if they were having a boy.
Confirming they’d picked a name for their unborn little girl – who they revealed the gender of in a sweet video in October – Molly was asked to give the first letter of the moniker, to which she replied: “No, I can't do that because there's so much speculation about what this flipping name is.”
"If I give the first letter then everyone will know, so…” she further teased.
After it was suggested that they should name their child Molly Junior, the 23 year old went on: “If it was a boy, there were conversations of it being Tommy Junior. He would have loved that!"
Ahead of the arrival of their bundle of joy, Molly-Mae hosted a lavish baby shower over the weekend.
Sharing a glimpse into the event, Molly opted for a neutral theme with lots of clouds.
On a long dining table were dozens of while pillar candles with floral chandeliers hanging above.
To the left was a pink board with clouds on which donned a neon light sign reading “Hey Baby…”.
In front of the board were stunning white tiers cakes – one with a cloud decoration on.
In another snap shared by Molly’s sister Zoe, a huge welcome board could be seen, reading: “Welcome to a celebration of Baby Fury”, followed by the date of the shower.
Zoe also showed off her outfit for the lavish affair, and looked stunning in a white double breasted blazer and metallic tassel trousers.
