Morgan Wallen's 'Last Night' Ties Fifth-Longest Reign Atop Billboard Hot 100
Morgan Wallen‘s “Last Night” has returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
This marks the 14th total week that the song has earned the No. 1 rank on the chart.
With this, “Last Night” has tied with seven other songs for the fifth-longest reign in the Hot 100 chart’s history.
They are: “Uptown Funk!” Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars; “I Gotta Feeling,” Black Eyed Peas; “We Belong Together,” Mariah Carey; “Candle in the Wind 1997″/”Something About the Way You Look Tonight,” Elton John; “Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix),” Los Del Rio; “I’ll Make Love to You,” Boyz II Men; and “I Will Always Love You,” Whitney Houston.
“Last Night” drew 28.6 million streams and 75.4 million radio airplay audience impressions and sold 7,000 downloads during the July 7-13 tracking week, according to Luminate.
The song from the album One Thing at a Time, which was released on Big Loud/Mercury/Republic Records on February 6, also tops the Streaming Songs chart, the Songs of the Summer chart, and the Hot Country Songs chart.
“Last Night” is followed by Luke Combs‘ cover of Tracy Chapman‘s “Fast Car” at No. 2, Miley Cyrus‘ “Flowers” at No. 3, Rema and Selena Gomez‘s “Calm Down” at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated July 22.
