New mum Stacey Dooleys fans reassure her youve got this after relatable post
Stacey Dooley's fans have reassured her that she's "got this" after she posted a relatable post as a new mum on Instagram.
The 35 year old TV presenter, who welcomed a daughter called Minnie with her partner and professional dancer Kevin Clifton recently, has been knee deep in the trials and tribulations of parenting a newborn baby.
And while the experience is a beautiful and magical one, it's overwhelming and incredibly tiring, as Stacey noted on her post.
Sharing a screenshot of a title of a book, called The Very Tired Girl, she captioned the post with emojis of mice and a moon.
Flocking to the comments in solidarity with the former Strictly Come Dancing winner, fans, friends and colleagues shared their support.
"Keep going mama, and don’t put any pressure on yourself to do anything beyond survive and soak her in at this point," one person wrote.
Another shared: "It gets easier Stacey, I promise. tiredness is a much underrated form of torture. The early days of baby."
"It passes. It’s just a few weeks in retrospect. Try and rest in between feeds," a third person advised, while a fourth said: "Just focus on each day. Don’t compare yourself or baby to anyone else either. Be kind to yourself, you got this xxx."
Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse then posted simply: "You've got this."
Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore also joked: "I know this book."
While another fan added: "Easy does it…there is no perfect way. Do what works for you and your little one."
Stacey is yet to show a snap of her tiny bundle of joy on social media, but her baby announcement was truly adorable.
Alongside an image of a letter with writing on top that simply said: "Minnie's Parents," Stacey gushed over her little girl.
"Our Daughter is here," Stacey began. "My little masterpiece! I'm COMPLETELY OBSESSED. Love you Minnie, Love you Kev x.
Fellow Strictly stars sent well-wishes and congratulations to the new mum and dad, as Claudia Winkleman posted: "Sending you three SO MUCH LOVE. Congratulations."
"Love her name! Congratulations to you both," Katie Piper said.
Zoe Ball also praised: "MINNIE all the love to you Mama & Papa. best job ever."
