Nicola Peltz-Becham address ‘throuple’ status with Selena Gomez

27-year-old actress Nicola Peltz married Brooklyn Beckham, 24, in April last year, but revealed their relationship has since brought on a third member: pop sensation Selena Gomez, 30. Nicola declared they are now a “throuple”, a trio of “best friends”, despite having only properly met in September last year.

The close friendship between Selena and the Peltz-Beckham’s became clear to the public when the trio were spotted on New Year’s Eve.

Nicola, Brooklyn and Selena ventured on a luxury trip to Cabo, Mexico, to celebrate the start of 2023, with Nicola and Selena donning matching dresses for the occasion.

Ever since, Selena has become a common sighting on Nicola’s Instagram page, with captions from the heiress like: “I love this girl so much.”

Selena also shared some snaps from their Mexico trip, showing her, Nicola and Brooklyn in a cosy embrace on a boat, captioned: “Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone”

The two Hollywood ladies have shared sleepovers, dinners and even reportedly have matching tattoos together, all the while avoiding confirming what their “throuple” status meant.

However, Nicola has now addressed the rumours, declaring that while they are a “throuple”, it is nothing more than friendship between the trio.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan as their April/May cover girl, Nicola declared: “We’re like, ‘Yeah, we are a throuple’.

“We are all three best friends.”

The model went on to explain that she had first met Selena “in passing” a few years ago but the pair didn’t get a chance to truly speak until September last year.

Nicola recalled the Academy Gala: “We just clicked and had the best time and then we became super, super close.

“I feel like she’s my soul sister. I love her so much.

“I feel like I’ve known her forever.”

Meanwhile, the Peltz-Beckham’s Cabo trip also invoked some feud conspiracies too claiming that Nicola and her mother-in-law, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, were on bad terms.

As the “throuple” hugged it out in Cabo, Brooklyn’s father David revealed to his 78 million followers that his eldest son was missing a family reunion, noting “we miss you” in his New Year’s posts.

The couple’s absence from the Beckham celebrations came after there were rumours of tension following Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding.

Many had assumed the model would walk down the aisle in one of Victoria Beckham’s designs.

When Nicola walked down the aisle in a custom Valentino gown it was assumed that this was evidence of a feud between the mother of the groom and the bride.

However, Nicole slammed this speculation in her Cosmo interview, declaring: “There’s no feud. I don’t know.

“No one ever wants to write the nice things.

“It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong.”
