Nicola Peltz gushes over Selena Gomez in sweet tribute after ‘throuple’ claims

Nicola Peltz has posted a tribute to her close friend Selena Gomez after claims emerged that the two women are in a "throuple" with the former's husband Brooklyn Beckham.

The 28 year old American actress gushed over Selena, 30, in a congratulatory Instagram post following her nomination at the Golden Globe Awards.

Disney Channel icon Selena was up for Best TV Actress in a Musical or Comedy Series for her hilariously witty performance in Only Murders in the Building alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Sadly, the star, who brought her little sister Gracie, nine, along as her plus one to the show in Los Angeles, didn't take home the gong, but still celebrated the experience with her friend.

Posting a series of images of the duo dancing and partying at the afterparty, with Brooklyn there too, Nicola said she was "proud" of Selena.

"Celebrating our golden globe girlie so proud of you @selenagomez I love you so much!" the star captioned her snaps.

In one image, Selena stuck out her tongue and ate cake as she posed for the shot in between Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola.

Nicola cheeringly rubbed cake on her friend's nose, while Brooklyn held up the knife for the arty black and white shot.

While in the next image, Nicola and Selena leaned in close for a selfie as the latter pouted to the camera.

Selena showed off her glamorous Golden Globes hairdo and diamond drop earrings for the evening, as she wore her earlier Valentino gown without the deep purple balloon sleeves.

Nicola meanwhile, opted for a black plunge top tucked into a pair of jeans and let her now-brunette locks hang loose for the party.

The two friends had matching makeup for the night, with glamorous lashes and a slick of lip gloss.

Nicola was also sporting her signature flicked eyeliner.

"I seriously am obsessed with this friendship," one fan commented on the images.

While another gushed: "Omgggggggg you guys are always so cute together."

"Love this so much gonna call you both #Nelena," a third said.

It comes after Selena shared pictures of the trio's new year celebrations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they partied on a yacht.

"Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone," Selena teased in her caption, prompting fans to go wild for the new friendship.
