The spy thriller series tells the story of a real-life CIA program as it follows the life of a young marine who is recruited by the CIA to befriend the daughter of a terrorist group in order to bring down the organisation from within.
Written by Taylor Sheridan who is usually renowned for his westerns, this series will see him try a change of genre as he works with Zoe and Nicole as well as the legendary Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira and Michael Kelly.
Zoe plays the role of Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program who must train and lead her female undercover operatives to prepare them for the danger that lies ahead.
Meanwhile Nicole stars as Kaitlyn Meade, the CIA’s senior supervisor who enlists the young marine raider to be part of their team.
Laysla De Oliveira will play Cruz Manuelos, a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.
Nicole will play Kaitlyn Meade, the CIA’s Senior Supervisor who has had a long career of playing the politics game.
She must juggle the trappings of being a woman in the high-ranking intelligence community, a wife that longs for the attention she herself can’t even give and a mentor to someone veering suspiciously close to the same rocky road she’s found herself on.
Morgan Freeman will play Edwin Mullins, the United States secretary of state, while Michael Kelly takes on CIA Deputy Director Byron Westfield.
