Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena celebrates as he wins on their wedding anniversary

Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena supported her husband and watched him win Wimbledon on their eighth wedding anniversary.

It was clearly a very special day for Novak, 35, and Jelena, 36, who tied the knot in 2014 and first started dating in 2005.

The Serbian tennis legend faced off against Australia’s Nick Kyrgios for a predictably eventful match – but it was Novak who ended up taking the win, making it his fourth win in a row at the tournament, and his seventh overall.

After clapping for her husband in the stands, Jelena could be seen giving him a huge hug and a kiss as the pair celebrated the incredible win.

Dressed to impress for the occasion, Jelena looked stunning – and stood out from the crowd – in a perfectly pink number, pairing it with a hat and sunnies.

Djokovic dropped the first set after a stunning start by the fiery Australian but bounced back to record his 21st major trophy to move ahead of Roger Federer and one behind Rafael Nadal in the overall Grand Slam singles titles race.

Novak and Jelena have been married since 2014 but first met in high school, and the pair began dating in 2005.

They enjoyed a ceremony on the grounds of Aman Sveti Stefan Resort in Montenegro, with Novak telling Hello! at the time: ‘Seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress, smiling and walking towards me… She looked like an angel.

‘I was trying to be present in that moment and memorise it. I was focused on her, and her smile, and our baby. It really was a perfect moment.’

They share their kids Stefan, seven, and Tara, four.

Jelena shared some adorable snaps to mark the milestone of their wedding anniversary, writing on Instagram: ‘8 years married out of 17 years of growing up together 😉☺️😍🥰 #nottoobad #nevergettingold #love.’

Earlier in the competition, Jelena posed with her husband and their children Tara and Stefan as they met fellow tennis legend Venus Williams.

They enjoyed some well-earned down time, and were spotted laughing together before Venus posed for a photo with Novak and his family.

The kids appeared to be collecting autographs, as both held a notebook and pen, with Stefan also wearing a heavily-signed T-shirt – and we’re sure Venus was a very coveted addition!
