Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam rushed to hospital for operation

Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood's ex-partner Summer Monteys-Fullam has been rushed to hospital for an immediate operation.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram to share a worrying health update as she told fans she'll be going under the knife but isn't entirely sure what will be happening.

The redhead, who works as an aesthetician and specialises in lip enhancements, has been forced to cancel upcoming work commitments.

She shared a snap of herself next to some hospital equipment with her 46,500 followers.

Summer wrote: "Hey girls. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry but I have been rushed to hospital and have a pending operation.

She continued: "I don't have a diary to cancel appointments for the next couple of days, but please can you DM me so I can re arrange your appointments when I'm reunited with my diary.

"I'm so sorry for having to re arrange you all. I'll update you all the second I know more."

In a later update, Paul's ex posted a photo of her hand with a drip attached to it.

She wrote on top of the image: "Hey guys, I'm still in hospital and not well at all [sad face emoji].

"Thank you all for your lovely messages, I haven't opened them all but I will reply to you all very soon.

"I'm having my second scan this morning to confirm whether I will have surgery today [crying face emoji]."

Paul and Summer first met in early 2017, when the star arranged a birthday party for then-wife Alexandra at the bar where she worked.

The TV judge then began growing closer to her when he and his wife separated.

The pair, however, called it quits after two years of being romantically linked and split back in August 2019, with sources at the time saying “it’s over for good".

The split apparently got messy and Summer later branded the romance "disastrous" during an Instagram Q&A with followers.

Summer has since said she's now more interested in waiting for her "Prince Charming" and finding true love.

And, since stepping back from the limelight, she's been focussing time on her career as a cosmetic therapist at the Cosmetic Couture Clinic in Salford.
