Pregnant Laura Anderson ‘mum shamed’ by trolls as she shows off baby bump in underwear
Recently-single Laura Anderson was trolled on Instagram after posting a racy shot in her underwear .
The former Love Island star, who appeared on season four of the show with Dani Dyer, Adam Collard and Megan Barton Hanson, is expecting a baby with actor Gary Lucy and due to give birth in early August.
On Sunday, Laura – who earlier posted about being “hurt” by her breakup with the Hollyoaks actor – took to Instagram, where she shared a scantily clad picture of herself with her Pomeranian, Buddy.
“But will I still be No.1 mum?” she captioned the post, which showed her lounging on the sofa in a denim jacket with the front unbuttoned to show off her Calvin Klein underwear.
“Guys let’s be honest with ourselves here, I’m defo pushing my belly out a wee bit,” she added in the comments.
The photos, which were taken by a Glasgow-based photographer, have since amassed over 60,000 likes, with many people taking to the comments to gush over the mum-to-be.
“The best mum to both babies,” wrote Rosie Williams, as another fan said: “You look stunning Laura. You have absolutely got this.”
Unfortunately, Laura was trolled by a few of her followers who slammed the reality TV star for her alleged treatment of Gary, who she met last year on Celebs Go Dating.
"Why would you have a child with a man who already has four children who need him, hundreds of miles away, and expect him to leave them and their needs and him to chose between children in the south, and a child in [Scotland]?” one fan argued. "What did you believe the outcome would be to keep everyone happy?"
Another scathed: “But this father wants to be around. He has a few kids that are already his life. But now she’s decided she doesn’t want him in it.”
“Where’s Gary in all this,” another said, while a third simple added: “Poor gary.”
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, former EastEnders actor Gary, 41, opened up about the shocking split, claiming Laura wanted them both to move to Scotland – which she has since disputed.
He said: "Laura did want me to move but I have my responsibilities here. I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time.
“Having gone through a divorce, my children need me and living such a long way from them just would not be possible. I wish I could break myself in half. I would if I could.”
"I’m really gutted. I haven’t stopped loving her and I won’t stop loving her,” Gary added.
Following her ex's explanation, Laura offered her own version of events and said on Instagram: "I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary.
"However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no choice.
"Gary and I are no longer together due to multiple reasons which will remain private."
She added that she was "more than happy" to move to Essex but chose to remain in Scotland when their relationship began to "break down."
Since the split, Gary and Laura have seemingly exchanged blows on social media in cryptic Instagram posts.
On one occasion, Laura posted a quote on her Instagram story which read: “I’ve been choosing peace over people lately. So far no regrets.”
Gary shared a post that said: “People that spend time looking for faults in others, should spend time correcting their own. Amen to that.”
