Heavily pregnant Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis confesses she was DEVASTATED when she found out she is expecting a baby boy

Martha Kalifatidis is just about ready to burst as she approaches the 37th week of her pregnancy. 

After announcing on Thursday she will be having a boy, the former Married At First Sight star, 34, has revealed she was ‘devastated’ when she found out the sex.

Speaking on KIIS FM’s Will & Woody on Friday, the influencer said she ‘was so upset’ when she discovered she wasn’t having a baby girl.

‘Guys I was 100% sure I was having a girl, like I had only opened girl clothing tabs on my phone, I was so convinced,’ she said. 

‘There was no chance in my mind it was going to be a boy, I had planned my whole life for this girl.

‘I’ll be so honest with you guys. At the beginning, I was devastated like I was so upset. It took me a few days to like come to terms with it.’

It comes just one day after Kalifatidis shared the sex of her unborn child just weeks away from her due date.

The heavily pregnant reality television star, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Michael Brunelli, posted to Instagram Stories on Thursday evening.

She shared a heart-warming reel of the moment she discovered whether she was having a boy or a girl.

Speaking on KIIS FM’s Will & Woody on Friday, the influencer said she ‘was so upset’ when she discovered she wasn’t having a baby girl 

The footage begins with Kalifatidis in black bikini bottoms floating in water, before it shows a sonogram of the couple’s child.

Brunelli is then seen gifting his love what appears to be a jewellery box, before several intimate family moments flash through the footage. 

Kalifatidis then reveals the sex of her child, later captioning the video with: ‘Oh, boy do we have news.’
