Prince George and Princess Charlottes £2.40 after-school sweet treat unveiled
A London bakery has revealed the £2.40 after-school treat ordered by Kate Middleton for her eldest two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte after the school run.
George, nine, and his younger sister Charlotte, seven, who will be moving to a new school near Ascot in September, began their schooling life at Thomas’ School in Battersea, South West London and it has been revealed that they enjoyed a sweet treat from a local bakery when mum Kate, 40, picked them up after school.
MyLondon reports that local bakery staff at Gail’s Bakery in Battersea have revealed the Duchess has visited on the school run with George and Charlotte for an after school treat.
Dominika Lipiec, 44, who works at the bakery told the publication: “One time, I remember a parent from the school came in and they were just so excited that their child was in the same class as George.”
She continued: “We have seen Kate here, twice at least. They've come here after picking up George from school. I think one time Charlotte was with her."
Staff revealed that the after-school treat of choice for the prince and princess was the Chocolate Brownie Finger which is a spongy treat costing £2.40.
The royal children are unlikely to pay another visit to Gail’s Bakery in Battersea as this September they will be attending a different school as thefamily moves up to the Windsor estate.
Both George and Charlotte, along with younger brotherPrince Louis, four, will be starting at the private co-educational institution Lambrook School, in Berkshire, near Ascot.
As well as boasting a wide range of subjects and sporting activities there are also weekend commitments.
