Princess Andre, 15, excited as she hits huge milestone, to dad Petes delight

Peter Andre has shared how proud he is of his daughter Princess Andre, who he shares with ex wife Katie Price, as he reveals his 15 year old has had her braces removed.

My big surprise!

Despite my best efforts to avoid having a party for my 50th, Emily and my manager Claire organised an absolutely gorgeous surprise birthday lunch for me at the Sussex Barn Estates. It was amazing and I was touched that they'd gone to so much effort to arrange it. Top chefs Loic Le Pape and Giovanni Zagni made us all a delicious meal, there were tons of balloons and I even had a cake in the shape of a tuxedo. I think it's fair to say I've milked this birthday as much as I can now!

Princess’ big moment

There was a story in the press last week about Princess doing some work for Pretty Little Thing. To be honest, she gets asked to do stuff all the time, but she’s just doing little bits here and there and nothing that interferes with her schoolwork. I’m pretty strict about that. All she’s doing for Pretty Little Thing is wearing an outfit and posing for a picture in it, which she can do on the weekend at home. She’s also done some stuff with Shein as well. She absolutely loves fashion and wants to study it at college, so that’s great. But the big news is that by the time you read this, she will have had her braces removed. It’s a massive thing for Bista and she’s so excited about it. She’s coming up to 16 and she’s got her school prom soon, so the timing is perfect. It’s going to be a really special dad/daughter moment when I take her to get them removed.

Girl power

As you know last Wednesday was International Women’s Day and I just wanted to take the opportunity to rave about the women I’m surrounded by. I’ve got a mum who’s the most incredible person in my life, I’ve got a sister who is such a hard worker and my wife is a doctor. I think women are total powerhouses and absolutely need to be celebrated. They’re a force to be reckoned with! And it’s no coincidence that the longest working relationship I’ve ever had is with my manager of nearly 30 years, Claire Powell. I can see the strength in my daughters already as they are surrounded by such good role models and that makes me so happy.

Good on Cara

It was so brave of Cara Delevingne to speak out about her time in rehab and how much therapy has helped her. She was clearly really struggling and has talked honestly about doing the 12-step programme and putting in the work to get on a better path. As someone who has been through therapy for years, you never really know how long the process can take. Nothing is a quick fix, as Cara said herself, and it’s a path of discovery. I love it when people talk about it openly, because I’m a huge believer in how important therapy is. The combination of therapy and medication changed my life and helped me immensely. But while medication can help mask things and help you get to a better state of mind, you’ve still got to deal with the underlying problem. That’s what therapy helped me with.

Hooked at first sight

Emily and I have just started watching the new series of Married at First Sight Australia and we’re totally addicted after just two episodes. I think the way the Aussies do the show is so spot on and there are definitely going to be fireworks ahead. Emily is obsessed with it! Some shows just really get you and this is one of them.
