Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie Have Been "Healing Rifts" with the Sussexes
Unlike the rest of the royal family, sigh, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are currently on good terms with Prince Harry (their first cousin) and Duchess Meghan Markle. But apparently this wasn’t always the case? Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams tells The Express that the “healing of rifts” between the royal cousins (um, there were rifts?!) was done quietly and behind closed doors, which was “beneficial” to the royal family.
In other words, no drama to be found! Because they’re literally keeping it out of the spotlight.
As far as the public is concerned, Harry and Eugenie are super close: not only was she seen attending the Superbowl with him, Harry and Meghan have been letting Eugenie and her husband live in their U.K. home Frogmore Cottage (though apparently they recently moved out and are now clashing with the Cambridges over Adelaide Cottage).
On top of those friendship vibes, Richard says Princess Eugenie was involved in mediating Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s return to England for the Queen’s Jubilee—which everyone was incredibly anxious about due to the usual, somewhat exhausting, royal feud related reasons.
Love to hear that Prince Harry has some close family members he can rely on in the royal family. If only Prince William would take a leaf out of Bea and Eugenie’s book 🙃.
