Priscilla Presley leaves her Glasgow hotel ahead of her UK tour

Priscilla Presley smiles as she leaves her Glasgow hotel ahead of kicking off her five-night UK tour – amid ongoing feud with granddaughter Riley Keough

Priscilla Presley was all smiles on Friday as she left her Glasgow hotel ahead of kicking off her five-night live UK tour.

The 77-year-old widow of the late Elvis Presley cut a chic figure in a black jacket and trousers as she exited the five star Blythwood Hotel before making her way down the street.

She teamed her look with a navy top, patterned scarf and a stylish quilted black handbag, while she carried a face mask in her hand.

Despite her ongoing feud with granddaughter Riley Keough and in the wake of daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s death in January, Priscilla looked in remarkably great spirits.

She even gave a friendly thumbs up to photographers before making her way to a waiting car alongside a security guard.

Lisa is due to kick off the first of her ‘Evening with’ dates at Glasgow’s City Halls on Saturday, in which she’ll join Edith Bowman to discuss her illustrious life, career and marriage to Elvis.

She’ll also share never-before-seen home images and home videos from her life with the King of Rock n Roll.

Priscilla is set to take her show to Manchester, London, Birmingham and Newcastle over the coming week.

The outing comes amid an ongoing rift with granddaughter Riley Keough over her late mother Lisa Marie’s will.

The dispute with Priscilla stemmed from both Keough and her brother Benjamin –  the grandchildren of the late Elvis Presley and children of the late Lisa Marie Presley  –  being named trustees to Lisa Marie’s estate in 2016, after she was the sole trustee for years.

Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, meaning the fortune now belongs to Keough. Priscilla is contending the 2016 amendment and has questioned the authenticity of her late daughter’s signatures on the document.

The family hostility continued this month in a Los Angeles court when Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61, was granted full custody of their twin girls Harper and Finley, 14, in the wake of her passing at 54.

Lockwood had been in a contentious custody battle for seven years with Lisa Marie, whose side Riley took, as she was upset she was losing time with her half-sisters to him.

Priscilla has been amenable to Lockwood amid recent developments as she seeks to ‘be a part of her grandchildren’s lives,’ a source told People last month.

Lisa Marie, who was a singer–songwriter with three studio album between 2003 and 2012, had just attended the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles with her mother two days before her passing.

The mother and daughter duo made a point to be at the awards show in a show of support for the acclaimed Elvis (2022) biopic from Baz Luhrmann that starred Austin Butler as the legendary King Of Rock And Roll, Elvis Presley.

During her walk along the red carpet of the event, Lisa Marie looked frail and fragile, which prompted her to lean on longtime family friend, Jerry Schilling, who’s now 81-years-old.

While being interviewed by Billy Bush for Extra, she linked arms with Schilling, telling him, ‘I’m gonna grab your arm.’

Both ladies were very open and honest in heaping praise on Luhrmann’s biopic, which focused on Elvis’s 20-plus year relationship with his manager Col. Tom Parker, and Butler’s performance as Elvis.

10 days after her passing, hundred of people attended a public memorial at Graceland in Memphis on January 22, and more than 1.5 million people watched the service via live stream as well.
