Rihanna Beats Kim Kardashian as Americas Youngest Self-Made Billionaire

With an estimated $1.4 billion net worth, the ‘What’s My Name?’ songstress is now ranked 21st on Forbes’ annual list of richest self-made women and the only billionaire under the age of 40 on the list.

AceShowbiz -2022 continues to become Rihanna‘s one of biggest years. After officially becoming a first-time mother, the singer/businesswoman has scored another feat as she has become the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States, knocking down Kim Kardashian from the first place, according to Forbes.

The “Only Girl (In the World)” songstress is now ranked 21st on the magazine’s annual list of richest self-made women. Her net worth is estimated at $1.4 billion, which reportedly comes primarily from the success of her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty, which is believed to be worth $2.8 billion.

“She also has a 30% stake in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which raised money at a $1 billion valuation in February 2021,” the magazine notes. The 34-year-old additionally has had a number worldwide hits, including “Umbrella”, “S&M”, “We Found Love” and “Diamonds” among others.

This is the third year in a row Rihanna made Forbes’ annual list of America’s richest self-made women. She is said to be Barbados’ first billionaire, and in April, she was announced as the world’s richest female musician.

Rih is the only billionaire under the age of 40 on the list. The next youngest self-made billionaire on the list is Kim Kardashian at 41 years old. With an estimated $1.8 billion net worth, the reality TV star is ranked 16th on Forbes’ list of America’s richest self-made women.

A large portion of “The Kardashians” star’s wealth comes from her stakes in KKW Beauty, her cosmetics and fragrance company and SKIMS. The shapewear business raised $240 million in January of this year from firms led by the likes of billionaires Stephen Mandel and Josh Kushner, doubling its valuation to $3.2 billion in less than a year.

Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner is the youngest non-billionaire on the list at age 24. In 2018, she was crowned Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire only to have the title taken from her after a recalculation of her net worth. Her net worth is currently estimated at $600 million, placing her at No. 41 on the list of America’s richest self-made women.
