Rod Stewart took to Instagram and shared the sad news that his second brother has died, just two months after sharing the news of his other sibling’s death. The Maggie May singer was inundated with messages of support as he paid tribute to his beloved family member.
The rocker took to Instagram to share the tragic news with his 1.2m followers.
He wrote: “It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.
“I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months.
“RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies’.”
Tributes have poured in for the rock legend as celebrity pals and fans offered their condolences.
Sharon Stone commented: “I’m terribly sorry for your loss my friend.”
Piers Morgan replied: “How sad… deepest condolences to you all. RIP Bob.”
Drummie Dan offfered: “Sorry for your loss, Rod. My grandparents were friends with your parents, Rod. My nan told me that Don had a lovely voice. RIP.”
