Shortly before Christmas, the 20-year-old showed his new neck tattoo to his millions of followers in a series of snaps on his Instagram story. While some showed the footballer and his friends enjoying the season’s festivities in Hyde Park, fans gushed over Romeo’s sweet selfies with his girlfriend Mia Regan.

The footballer first debuted his tattoo in late November, posing with his friends and at the 2022 Fashion Awards.

The new ink has rarely been spotted since but Romeo gave his 3.6 million followers a closer look at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland.

Pictured in a trio of friends, the Beckham progeny was dressed as Luigi from the Super Mario Bros game, with his friends completing the ensemble.

The fresh ink appeared to be a single line of text written vertically, stretching from his earlobe down to his shoulder.

Later, Romeo and his girlfriend Mia, 20, headed off to the Lake District.

The footballer offered fans a more detailed look at the top piece of his new tattoo while he covered the rest in a snuggly jacket.

The couple have only recently reunited, as they confirmed they were back together in November during Romeo’s 20th birthday celebrations.

Earlier this year Romeo and Mia announced they were splitting after three years together.

The footballer went on to remove almost all traces of the model from his social media pages at the time.

However, four months after their split, Mia is once again a staple of his Instagram page, with his most recent story featuring a photo of her in the lake district sweetly captioned: “My girl.”

This isn’t Romeo’s first tattoo above the collar, as he also has a replica of one of his dad’s artworks.

While David Beckham has a simple Christian cross with angel wings on the back of his neck, Romeo has a more intricate version reaching a bit further up into his hairline.

The 20-year-old has a large collection of tattoos, steadily putting together a sleeve on his right arm similar to his father’s.

His other tattoos include the phrases ‘freedom to love’, ‘freedom to dream’ and ‘free spirit’, a large dove on his wrist and plenty of symbols dotting his hands and knuckles.

Surprisingly, neither Romeo nor David is the most inked in the family.

Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn, 23, has 100 tattoos according to the Daily Mail, bounds ahead of their father who is estimated to have around 80.

The outlet also noted that 70 of Brooklyn’s tattoos are dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz.

Similarly, David also has his wife’s name, Victoria, tattooed on his hand while many of his other tattoos are dedicated to his four children.

Their wearable artwork is not the only similarity between Romeo and his father, as the budding sportsman is steadily working on his football career in America.

He currently plays for Inter Miami II and is training with the B team of Premier League side Brentford.
