‘I miss her so much already’: Ronan Keating and ex wife Yvonne Connolly congratulate Love Island star son Jack on his surprise baby announcement – as fans work out he likely conceived BEFORE going in the villa
Ronan Keating and his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly were quick to publicly congratulate son Jack after he shocked fans with a surprise baby announcement.
The Love Island star, 23, revealed in an Instagram post on Thursday that he had welcomed a baby girl – confusing fans because he hadn’t mentioned a child before.
Also because he had appeared on the ITV2 show eight months ago – meaning his baby daughter was likely conceived prior to his appearing on the show.
Jack has not been public about a romantic relationship since leaving the Love Island villa last summer and it is not known who the mother of the baby is.
Yet Ronan, 46, and Yvonne, 49 – who divorced in 2015 after 17 years of marriage – didn’t address any speculation as they instead shared sweet messages of support.

The Irish singer shares eldest child Jack with his ex-wife, Yvonne Connolly, 48, who’s also a mum to Missy, 22, and Ali, 17, from the couple’s 12-year marriage.
Yvonne wrote on Jack’s post: ‘I miss her so much already’.
Jack looked every inch the doting dad in the snaps as he looked down adoringly at the little one who he cradled in his arms.
He captioned the snap: ‘Welcome to the world my little Princess’.
His pals and other Love Island stars were quick to congratulate him, as Paige Thorne wrote: ‘Congratulations hunny!!’
Ronan’s second wife and Jack’s step mother Storm replied with a series of heart emojis under the post.

Fans also took to the comments of Jack’s post to share their congratulations but noted that the ‘math ain’t mathing’.
Prior to entering the Love Island villa eight months ago, Jack said: ‘I’ve been single for a long time, probably 4 or 5 years now and I’ve really been missing that spark that I haven’t been getting on the dating scene, like I’ve been dating for a long time.
‘And I just thought why not? Hopefully I’ll get a connection with somebody and see what happens.’
One follower said: ‘I’m so confused. The maths isn’t adding up’.
Another echoed: ‘I know I’m bad at maths, but the math ain’t mathing on this at all!!! Love Island isn’t even 9 months ago yet. I mean I know accidents happen but….’
A third added: ‘So did he have a gf when he was in Love Island correct me if I’m wrong it said he was in the villa 8 months ago and a baby takes 9 ?!’
A fourth accused: ‘So you went on a show to find love not thinking about the girl you got pregnant’.
And a fifth agreed, writing: ‘Someone was carrying your baby when you went on Love Island? You’re joking.’
While a sixth explained: ‘yeah so he must of got the mum pregnant in June then went into LI (Casa) in July. Unless he waited until he came out of LI and baby’s been born a month early.’

It comes after Jack spoke to The Independent this month and insisted: ‘I’m still single and ready to mingle. I’m on Hinge [the dating app], but I don’t use it too seriously. I dip in every once in a while and I’m enjoying being single.’
He added: ‘People think my account is fake. I’m verified, but they still believe I’m a catfish who’s stolen someone else’s photos. I’m like: “Trust me – I’m the real deal.”‘
He also admitted to going on Dinner Dates on ITV in his quest for love, saying: ‘I just did Dinner Dates with ITV, and that comes out in March. Filming took a couple of weeks and I met some nice girls and ate some nice food, so it was a full experience.’

The Dublin-born influencer confessed to being unlucky in love at the time and had hoped signing up to Love Island would mark the end of his dating woes.
He said: ‘I’ve been single now for a long time, probably four or five years now and I’ve really been missing that spark that I haven’t been getting on the dating scene.
‘I’ve been dating for a long time, and I just thought “why not?” Hopefully, I’ll get a connection with somebody and see what happens.’
Last month Jack claimed he was forced to watch the show in isolation and give his top three girls to producers before entering Casa Amor.
After jetting to Mallorca ahead of his bombshell arrival last year, the former Islander lived in isolation with chaperone Dan ‘in the middle of nowhere’.
While banned from having access to the outer world, he has alleged was made to sit through nightly instalments of the programme and reveal who he had crushes on.

He told OK! magazine, ‘I wasn’t allowed to leave during my stay, but as there were no other buildings for what seemed like miles, I’d have had nowhere to go anyway.
‘Throughout those two weeks in isolation, I hardly spoke to anyone other than Dan. Producers came in occasionally to give a rundown about what was happening, but it meant that Dan and I got to know each other very well.
‘At the end of each episode I was required to say who my top three girls were, so producers could gauge what would happen if they sent me into the villa.’
He went on to claim he was instructed to pick three or four outfits which were then whittled down to one by show bosses.
Jack said, right before his entrance, a barber cut his hair and by 11pm he was in Casa Amor, describing it as being ‘so surreal’ since the other stars felt like ‘celebrities’.
