Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd’s mum ‘so proud’ of daughters amid Ferne McCann drama

Suzie Wells, the mother of Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd, has spoken out in support of her daughters as she said she is “so proud” of them both.

The 53 year old mum of the former TOWIE stars shared her praise for her daughters in a sweet throwback post on Instagram on Thursday night.

In the short video clip, which was shared to Suzie’s instagram stories, a montage can be seen of the happy family celebrating the success of Sam’s brand Revive Collagen in a series of posts dated August 3 2022.

In the montage, Sam can be seen smiling alongside her product range, while several images also feature her adorable baby, Edward.

Alongside a dinner celebrating the range’s success, Billie could also be seen grabbing a cuddle of her new nephew in the precious images.

The short clip was a far cry from her posts earlier this week, when Suzie called out Ferne McCann after a series of “vile” voice recordings allegedly of the star criticising her daughter, Sam, were “leaked” online.

The first message was shared on Instagram earlier this week, where the 32 year old appeared to call Sam, 31, a “fat c***”.

She said: “Sam Faiers is a fat c***. Her thighs are so big, and I looked really skinny today and, urm, yeah.”

A second and what looks to be a third message have since been released where Ferne appeared to call the mum-of-three a “narcissistic b***h”.

On the first of the two additional notes, fans could hear her say: “That’s the sort of girl that she is. She’s just a narcissistic b***h. She honestly won’t care."

The second went on: “It’s an exact copy. It’s just so sh*t on people that have worked hard to just– because she has a big following. It’s just ridiculous. It’s out of order.”

While no context was given for the recordings, they have received widespread backlash from Sam’s own family, with Suzie taking to social media to condemn the “nasty” voice note.

Posting on Instagram, Suzie told fans she could "no longer sit back and say nothing".

The star told fans that a clip has been shared on social media, adding: "This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.

"Ferne has always been a very close family member to all of us over the past 20 years. It appears the voice note was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May."

Suzie went on: "Since the voice note has surfaced more have been sent – very upsetting nasty things. We are as shocked as you are! Nobody should ever speak about their friends like this ever!

"My girls are my absolute everything and I'll do anything to protect them.

"I don't have anything else to say on the matter," the mum-of-two concluded.
