Shaughna Phillips heartbroken by Celebs Go Dating pal Levi Davis scary disappearance

Shaughna Phillips has spoken out on the disappearance of her pal Levi Davis, who she met on the hit Channel 4 show Celebs Go Dating back in 2020.

The rugby ace, 24, has been missing for more than a week and Bath Rugby have issued an appeal for information about the whereabouts of the star, who was last seen at a pub in Spain on 29 October.

Now, Love Island star Shaughna, who is expecting her first baby with her partner, has shared her heartbreak over the situation in an exclusive interview with OK!.

"It's horrific. I can't even imagine what his family are going through…" Shaughna started, adding that she saw Levi's family on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Tuesday 8 November, where his mum shared her fears that he has "deteriorated".

Reality star Shaughna continued: "It's just terrifying. There's absolutely no kind of explanation for it. Especially with adults as well. I feel like when it's kids, and you hear 'Oh, they've been gone for a few hours' or a date – when you hear he's been gone over a week, it's really scary.

"Fingers crossed he just needed some some time alone and he'll let us know he's okay. Obviously I'm praying for his family."

Shaughna took to her own Twitter account in a bid to help the search for Levi as she shared: "Anyone with relevant information please contact the necessary authorities! Praying Levi is home quickly and safely," followed by a praying hands emoji and a white heart emoji.

"I've shared something on Twitter to kind of, hopefully jog people's memories," she told OK! before recalling Levi's bubbly personality. "He was so lovely, so friendly, so funny. He was like a ray of light on Celebs Go Dating, and he really made those long days go quick."

"I'm really hoping for a happy healthy, happy ending. Fingers crossed," she added.

Levi's mum Julie last had contact with her son on 29 October, which is when he filmed a video at The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona. He had travelled alone to the city after leaving a friend in Ibiza.

Julie appeared on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, as she spoke about her son's mental health and his reasons for travelling abroad after suffering a devastating injury whilst playing rugby.

Speaking to GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, Julie explained that Levi had told her he needed to take a break after he suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his knee.

She told the presenters: “Levi said, ‘I need to just sort my head out and have some time to refresh myself’. He had recently had an ACL injury and he thought that was a good time for him to go.”

Julie then spoke about how stopping his sports would be hard for Levi to adjust to, as she said: “For him it was going from doing something to suddenly not doing a lot.”

When asked by Susanna what state she thought Levi might be in now, Julie said: “I think given the state he was in, I think he’s probably deteriorated.

“The fact he would normally be in touch with me on a day to day basis or his friends makes it even more concerning.”
