Stacey Solomon announces baby girl’s name after welcoming fifth child

Stacey Solomon has revealed the name of her fifth child, and her third with husband Joe Swash, announcing their baby girl is called Belle.

Stacey, 33, who previously said she thought the little one was going to slide out at the baby shower, welcomed her daughter with Joe, 41, earlier this month.

Announcing the name alongside two adorable snaps of their little tot, Stacey said: "Belle [two red rose emojis] Our little Belle.

"Our beautiful, delicate baby girl. Who will forever remind us of the bluebells that are about to bloom as you bring the spring with you into the world… And a little special connection to your Rose

"To the moon and back Belle. Forever and always".

Stacey and Joe an nounced the pregnancy back in December with an adorable compilation video that showed the moment the Loose Women panellist sprung the happy news on her husband.

Stacey said at the time: "So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way…

"A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for. To the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy," she added.

Since the announcement, Stacey has documented her pregnancy journey on social media and, on one occasion, dubbed herself a “sloth.”

Never one to keep things from fans, Stacey also posted a hilarious rant telling Joe how sex was a “'physical impossibility.”

After jokingly attempting to induce labour with some squats in the kitchen, Stacey had a surprise baby shower courtesy of her sister and close friends just weeks before the birth.

"So late Friday night my sister turned up with some of our closest friends and set up a little baby shower celebration in my kitchen,” she detailed on her story.

"I didn't think – 1 – we'd get time for a shower and – 2 – I felt a bit silly for having a baby shower I don't know why I just felt like I'd had too many already or something."

While the event celebrated Stacey and the upcoming baby, attendees also went home with gift bags worth £350.

“My sister bought treat bags for my besties with all of my favourite things and she made one for me (knowing I have it all already because I love them!) & said she thought I’d want one to give away. Best present ever. Best sister ever,” Stacey explained.

The bags included luxury perfume, makeup brushes, liquid highlighters, skin care, hair care bundles and pieces from Stacey’s Abbott Lyon Jewellery collection.

Stacey’s best pal Mrs Hinch, who recently addressed her own pregnancy rumours, also put together a basket of gifts for her friend that included both essentials and personal items for Stacey and the baby.

“Baby Bundle For A Very Special Baby Shower, I just love making gifts,” Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, wrote alongside a video, to which Stacey responded, “I loved it so so so much I still have Rose’s too.”
