Stacey Solomon ‘grateful’ in holiday update as Rose celebrates new milestone

Stacey Solomon has shared an update on her holiday in Abu Dhabi as her daughter Rose celebrated a new life milestone.

Loose Women star Stacey, 33, jetted out to the UAE with her husband Joe Swash, 40, and five of their six children on Friday, as she shared a sweet snap of them in matching grey sweats at the airport.

The loved-up couple were joined by Stacey's sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10 from previous relationships, as well as the three children they share together, Rex, three, Rose, one, and newborn baby Belle. Joe's 16 year old son Harry, from a previous relationship, did not appear to have joined them.

Stacey took to Instagram once again on Saturday as she shared a selection of clips and snaps from a wholesome family day spent on the beach.

In the first snap she shared, Rex could be seen holding Rose's hand as they navigated the surf whilst at the beach with blue skies behind them.

She wrote: "It's 10.30pm here in Abu Dhabi. All the kids are fast asleep," before thanking her fans for sending lovely messages.

She went on to say that they'd had "the best day" as she gushed about how "grateful" they are to be away.

The star shared: "This is Rose's first experience of the sea. She was a little nervous but loved it in the end."

In the next clip, which was a video, two of Stacey's sons, Leighton and Rex, could be seen running around on the beach as a crab walked along the sand.

Stacey described Abu Dhabi as "paradise" and it certainly looked that way in the next snap, which saw one year old Rose staring open-mouthed at a starfish that sat under the water, as Stacey wrote: "Her [Rose's] face says it all".

Another gorgeous snap saw Rose and Rex with the sunset and sea behind them, as Stacey gushed "they just make my whole heart happy" before promising her fans she would tell them more about the hotel once they'd left.

Finally, Stacey posted another picture as she held baby Belle and placed a tender hand on Rose's head as Rex ran in the shore.

She wrote: "I can't even explain how grateful I am just to be here, spending time with all of the pickles.

"We don't deserve this anymore than anyone else. So we feel so lucky to be able to get away.

"I work away from these guys so much with filming & honestly I just am loving giving them every second of me while we have the chance."

Stacey continued: "I start back again [work] in a few weeks so I'm going to soak up every single second of them.

"And I'll catch with you as I relive the day though the pictures in the evenings.

"I just want to say thank you for every single kind message wishing us a happy holiday. To the moon and back… Always."
