Strictly hosts left flustered as Will Mellors tight trousers burst open in semi finals
Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daly was left rather flustered on Sunday night after Corrie star Will Mellor suffered from a wardrobe malfunction.
After dancing up a storm with his Paso Doble with professional dance partner Nancy Xu, the duo went over for their judge's feedback, where the awkward malfunction occurred.
Standing next to Tess, the actor, 46, was seen fiddling with his trousers, as he explained: "My button burst, I think."
"Bit tight these pants," he added, while Tess appeared to become somewhat flustered, replying with: "Oh gosh, they are quite tight" and joking that he had had a "wardrobe malfunction."
While Will's trousers appeared to be the only wardrobe malfunction of the night, judge Motsi Mabuse did leave viewers rather confused with her dress.
Taking to social media some viewers said they thought the dress was white and gold while others maintained it was black and blue.
The dress in question featured a high neck and flowing, bell sleeves with an all over zebra print pattern created from sequins.
The design hugged the professional dancer’s curves, showing off her toned figure as she sat behind the judge's podium.
One Twitter user wrote: “is the dress that Motsi Mabuse is wearing gold or blue?" and a second echoed the confusion, saying: “Has Motsi got a black and blue dress on or is it just me?”
Fans were also left baffled as the episode saw radio presenter Greg James appear in his bath tub as he read out the terms and conditions for voting during the show.
Fans were quick to take to Twitter, with many writing that they had been left somewhat distracted from the appearance, and were now struggling to concentrate on the dances.
One wrote: "Greg James in a bathtub! I am suddenly very thirsty" while another commented: "@gregjames reading the terms and conditions in a bath only Greg would do that #Strictly".
As Strictly makes its way closer to its final things are certainly heating up for the remaining celebs, with with Kym Marsh contracting Covid and missing a week, only to be voted out upon her return.
Molly Rainford and her partner Carlos Gu also found themselves in the dance-off for yet another week, but Fleur East and pro Vito Coppola managed to sweep through into the semi-finals.
With stakes higher than ever, the remaining couples, who also include Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez and Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, spent the week preparing for their biggest dances yet.
