Len Goodman reveals he’s leaving Dancing with the Stars
Len Goodman has died at the age of 78 as tributes poured in for the Strictly Come Dancing judge, including from his former co-star Craig Revel Horwood who took to Twitter today.
The BBC star shared his devastation over the news in a heartbreaking tweet, as he referred to Len as “Goody” in a heartfelt tribute to his colleague and friend.
Craig wrote: “I’ve just woken up to the sad news that my gorgeous colleague and dear friend Len Goodman has passed away. My heart and love go out to his lovely Sue and family.
“Len Goody Goodman is what I always called him and ‘It’s a ten from Len & seveeeeern’ will live with me forever. RIP Len.”
Social media users flocked to comment on the news as they offered their condolences to the Strictly judge.
Alison wrote: “So sorry for the loss of your friend. He was so lovely. We absolutely loved him on Strictly. Can’t believe he’s gone. Thinking of everyone who loved him, especially his family and friends. Just awful.”
Kerynne commented: “We are losing so many legends at the moment that have brought us such joy over the years. Sorry that you have been losing colleagues and friends.”
Annie remarked: “So sorry Craig on the passing of Len. I just saw the news myself. RIP Len.”

Sarah tweeted: “Such sad news about dear Len, another darling national treasure gone! Dance on Len, dance on.”
Piers Morgan shared a photo of Len showing him some dance moves as he paid tribute to the “quintessential Londoner and top bloke”.
“More very sad news from the world of entertainment… RIP Len Goodman, 78 – welder, dancer, judge, and devoted cricket & West Ham fan,” Piers wrote on Twitter.
“Always had a laugh with Len, and swapped a few strong opinions. A quintessential Londoner and a top bloke.”
Dan Walker also paid a heartwarming tribute to Len, writing: “So sad to hear about the death of Len Goodman. He was an incredible man & an extraordinary talent.
“Loved making telly with him, being daft with him, playing golf with him & will never forget the little tips he would send every week on Strictly. All my love to his family.”
Russell Grant, who competed on Strictly in 2011, wrote: “The wonderful Len Goodman has left us. He was so kind and lovely to me when I was on Strictly and we met on other programmes including his own filmed at BBC Glasgow.”
