The 1975’s Matty Healy knows All Too Well he came out of his short-lived romance with Taylor Swift as the Anti-Hero.
And the musician, 34, appeared to give an on-stage apology on Wednesday night at his band’s stop in Dublin, Ireland – two days after his romance with Swift ended.
Matty performed an acoustic solo set before the full band took the stage and asked the audience a question.
He grabbed a can of black spray paint and scrawled ‘Sorry?’ in giant letters on a white backdrop as his bandmate Jamie Squire sang a cover of Leon Russell’s A Song For You.
Swift and the rocker’s romance was revealed in May, amid speculation they had already been dating for weeks — but a friend close to the star confirmed Taylor was ‘single’ again on Monday.

Later in the night, Matty tried to Shake It Off with several pints of Guinness waving the pint at the audience and saying: ‘It is not even normal, it is just because it is so nice.’
‘But you drink so much of it like it is some kind of milk that then you forget the songs so I came in at the wrong time then,’ he continued.
‘I thought it was quite dramatic as well, I was making my way over here and it was all eye contact and just a p****d bloke,’ he slurred.
Matty stumbled around the stage to the concern of his bandmates George Daniel and Adam Hann according to The Sun.
Though Taylor has not spoken about the split, she gave a very emotional performance during her Chicago show over the weekend and appeared close to tears as her voice began to break during a piano version of ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, an emotional breakup song.
‘Wondering if I dodged a bullet, or just lost the love of my life?’ Swift sang as her mouth seemed to tremble with emotion.
The Dear Reader hitmaker dated the I Always Want to Die singer for a bit more than a month after her breakup with her boyfriend of six years, actor Joe Alwyn.
Speaking of Alwyn, he is reportedly ‘disappointed and embarrassed’ by Swift’s new breakup anthem You’re Losing Me, which she released last month, The Mirror reported.
The lyrics of the song follow the breakdown of a relationship with the Don’t Blame Me singer detailing how she wanted to get married but he never asked her.
