Tommy Fury taunted by Jake Paul who says Molly-Mae is tired of being breadwinner
Jake Paul has once again taunted his boxing rival Tommy Fury by making a dig about his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague.
After two postponed attempts to get into the ring together, Jake, 26, and Tommy, 23, are set to fight in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Ahead of the bout, Jake – who appeared to announce the birth of Tommy and 23 year old Molly-Mae’s daughter as part of a previous dig – has claimed his opponent may have been “forced” into the match by Molly.
He said on BT Sport: “Hopefully [Tommy] shows up because he is frightened, he is fumbling the bag, I don't know whether he believes in himself.
“He has kind of been forced into this by the fans, the media, his family and probably Molly," Jake continued.
“She is probably sitting there going, ‘Yo I just had a baby I can't be the one to pay the bills the entire time’.”
Jake added: “This is his biggest payday and he is going to actually be able to support his family a little bit if he gets a good wealth manager and invests his money properly.
“Molly is probably like, ‘yeah bro I'm tired of being the breadwinner of this relationship’.”
Tommy is currently training to face Jake in the ring, while Molly looks after their newborn daughter, Bambi, at their Manchester home.
Their baby girl arrived in January and the couple spent a week getting used to life as parents before joyously announcing her arrival on Instagram.
In that time though, Jake and Tommy’s match was confirmed – with the former ‘announcing’ his rival’s new addition as the sporting news was shared.
Jake said on 27 January: “Tommy has no excuses now…Baby’s born. Money’s massive. Immigration no issue.
"Tyson promises he & Papa will make Tommy retire from boxing & change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber.
"Tmw I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Furys in the eye & shake on that promise."
Tommy later claimed Jake had just been ‘speculating’ about his personal life.
During an interview with Piers Morgan, he said: "At the end of the day, all Jake Paul can do from wherever he is in this world is speculate, and that’s all that was.
“Speculation, nothing is ever true unless you hear it from me and Molly. It’s part and parcel, it’s what we have to do."
