Ulrika Jonsson, 54, has confessed that she has had “dalliances” with women “borne out of sexual desire”. However, she states that her experimentation with the same sex was not spurred on by a lack of luck with men.
Ulrika’s admission comes after Love Island’s Amber Gill said “switching team” was the “best decision”.
In her new column, Ulrika shared her own romantic experiences but ruled that, unlike Amber, she has not been put off men.
The Swedish star wrote for The Sun: “I, myself, like many other women, have had a few dalliances with women in the past.
“I never pursued another woman – things just happened – and they were most certainly borne out of sexual desire.
“I haven’t, to date, felt an impetus to turn my attention to a relationship with another woman based on my despair of men.”
Ulrika’s romantic history has been well documented since she burst into the public eye in the 1990s.
The TV presenter has been married three times: First to cameraman John Turnbull from 1990-1995, then Mr Right contestant Lance Gerrard-Wright from 2003 to 2006, and finally to advertising executive Brian Monet from 2008 until 2019.
Ulrika has also had public relationships with the likes of footballer Stan Collymore, hotel boss Marcus Kempen and football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.
She has four children: Bo, Martha, Malcolm, and Cameron.

Ulrika previously said that dating is “hard” when fame is involved.
Writing in a previous column for the aforementioned publication, she spoke about her experience on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating.
She wrote: “I faced other obstacles: People who are intrigued by my waning celebrity status. Sometimes it’s hard being ‘that bird off the telly’.
