Victoria and David Beckham escape to beach after birthday with Nicola

Ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham celebrated her 49th birthday in sunny Miami with family, including her new daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, 28, but opted to retreat away shortly afterwards, alongside husband David, following the big reunion.

The birthday girl also showcased a sweet smooch with her husband, 47, stating: “In the middle of nowhere with my favourite person @davidbeckham.”

Fans were quick to reply with comments including: “Very beautiful” and “#relationshipgoals”.

David was the first to post a throwback snap of the pair, writing: “Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife and mummy x someone who inspires us every single day.

“We love you and you deserve to have the most perfect day.”

Victoria also shared additional photos of her family in the States, minus her son Romeo, 20, who remained home in London.

Making a silly face to the camera, the designer also appeared to be eating a regular cake with frosting rather than her yearly watermelon cake.

She posted: “Celebrating meeeeeee!! Last night. I love u all so much!!

“We miss u @romeobeckham! Kisses @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx.”

The family all shared posts to their social media, including a re-post by Nicola, with the caption: “Happy birthday!! Love you!”

Fans also noticed that Nicola was all smiles in Victoria’s posts, including in one particular shot of Brooklyn, 24, sister Harper, 11, and the socialite.

Recently, the Beckhams had been swept up in rumours that Victoria and the American actress “still haven’t bonded”.

The photos appeared shortly after the ladies spent Easter at the £76 million Peltz family mansion in Florida.

Any reported feud appeared to be quashed as they posed for photos and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.

Rumours of their friction emerged when the pair clashed over the socialite’s wedding dress.

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” she confirmed to Variety last month.

However, sources claim that Nicola had never planned to wear a Victoria Beckham original anyway.

However, Victoria didn’t let rumours of a rift faze her as she celebrated the young couple’s one-year anniversary: “So special to be together to celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary.

“We love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham @davidbeckham.”

Nicola also commented with heart emojis: “Today was so fun! We love you so much.”

With Victoria and David on either side, Brooklyn and Nicola were seen with big smiles holding a cake covered in Polaroids.
