Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz ‘don’t really click’ and fell out ‘over nothing’

Victoria Beckham welcomed Nicola Feltz into the family with open arms before she married her son Brooklyn Beckham in April.

But with rumours of a suspected falling out between Victoria, 48, and 23 year old Brooklyn's wife Nicola, 27, a source has told OK! the pair "don't really click" – adding that there isn't really a reason but perhaps it is because they have different backgrounds.

“Victoria and Nicola just don’t always get on as well as everyone may think," they said. "It’s as simple as that."

They also added that nobody is at fault for the situation, the pair are just not the best of friends.

"It’s not like they’ve fallen out over anything in particular but as time has gone on I think they’ve realised they don’t really click," our source said.

"It’s because they are different people. Nicola has come from a rich background, Victoria hasn’t.”

OK! approached Victoria and Nicola's representatives for comment.

At Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, Victoria and former footballer husband David, 47, were notably absent from the top table at the venue. Instead, the top table was filled with Nicola’s family.

The last time Posh liked a post of Nicola’s was on 27 May, while her daughter-in-law looks to have ignored all of Posh’s family posts – including one of Brooklyn posing with David on his wedding day, for US Father’s Day on 19 June.

Victoria hasn’t reacted to several photos of the couple’s big day shared by Nicola, nor did she react to a photo of the pair at the Met Gala.

Nicola also didn’t comment on Victoria’s gushing post celebrating her anniversary with her husband David or her birthday post to David.

But last year, Nicola liked Victoria’s birthday post to Harper where she gushed over how much she loves her “little sis”.

Victoria responded: “So sweet! We love you so.”

Meanwhile, a separate source has told OK! that Victoria fears losing Brooklyn to the Pelz clan and that she fears the old saying "a son is a son until he gets a wife" may be coming true.

Our second source told us: “It’s very difficult for Victoria, coming from a tight-knit family, to see her son grow so close to his in-laws. Like any mum, she worries she could be losing him, and I think she is determined to stay on Nicola’s good side to ensure that doesn’t happen.”
