Victoria Beckham has revealed that she and husband David, 47, have banned their 10-year-old daughter Harper from social media.

The former Spice Girl, 48, said that she wants to protect her daughter from ‘body shamers’ at her young age. 

Speaking to Vogue Australia the star said: ‘Seeing how cruel people can be [online] yes, it really does [concern me].’

She told the publication: ‘Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about [body-shaming] just yet’.

Victoria, who also is mother to sons Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 17, went on to say that she helps her daughter surround herself with good friends in a bid to boost her confidence.  

‘She’s at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends’ 

Before adding: ‘But it is quite terrifying, I can’t lie.’

It comes as Victoria and David sported matching yellow outfits as they continued to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary in Venice on Tuesday.

The fashion designer took to her Instagram Stories to reveal how she had colour-coordinated her stylish outfit to match the former footballer, joking ‘who copied who?’.

Victoria looked stunning in a dusty yellow maxi-dress with white straps and keyhole cutouts, which she teamed with a pair of white sandals.

She opted for a nude palette of make-up as she showed off her natural good looks, while she sported a pair of aviator sunglasses.

David also opted for a yellow ensemble as he sported a golden T-shirt, which he styled with a pair of white trousers and black loafers. 

He shielded his eyes from the bright sunshine with a pair of black square sunglasses as he posed outside with his arm wrapped around Victoria’s shoulders.

Matching! It comes after David and Victoria sported matching yellow outfits as they continued to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary in Venice on Tuesday

In a caption alongside the snap, Victoria commemorated their anniversary by writing: ‘Still matching 23 years later’.

She also shared an amusing video to her Stories where she jokingly asked fans to guess ‘who copied who’ with their coordinated outfits.

As she revealed their matching ensembles, a disgruntled David said: ‘I had it on first just for the record! This was not planned.’ 

‘You inspired me!’ Victoria said, before jokingly adding: ‘I’m a fashion inspiration to many, who copied who?’

Earlier on Tuesday, the couple arrived in Venice after travelling to the Italian city from Paris on the Orient Express.

They were joined by their family members – including Victoria’s parents Jackie and Anthony Adams and her rarely-seen brother Christian – for the visit.

Their date night saw them enjoy a bottle of wine, which came in a personalised engraved bucket, on a rooftop where they also let off heart-shaped balloons.

For their celebratory evening, Victoria was the epitome of elegance in a chic white blazer dress, which she paired with glittering silver tights and heels.

She flaunted her natural good looks with a light dusting of make-up and let her brunette tresses fall natural over her shoulders as she cosied up to David.

The co-owner of Inter Miami CF cut a suave figure in a black suit and tie as they posed for a mirror selfie before heading out for rooftop drinks.
