‘Wasted’ Kris Jenner in tears as pal finishes emotional speech for Khloé’s birthday

Kris Jenner had to get a pal to fill in for her as she admitted she was “wasted” while giving an emotional speech on daughter Khloé Kardashian’s birthday.

Khloe celebrated her 38th birthday on Monday June 27, which mum Kris celebrated by posting a sweet gallery of family photos to Instagram, praising her daughter’s “strength” and the way she “handles things”.

But as Khloé’s birthday party got into full swing later that evening, it seems Kris wasn’t done with her praise as she sat down to dinner and gave an emotional speech about her daughter.

Kim Kardashian posted a video of the moment to Instagram, where Kris could be seen looking radiant in a green gown and clutching a cocktail in one hand as she told her daughter how much she loved her.

The momager said: “So, I know I’m a little wasted, and a little green, but what I wanna say is how f**king in love with you I am, Khloé Kardashian. You are a rockstar, in my eyes. You are the queen of our family. You are the person who is always looking at the…”

Kris then trips over her words before laughing and managing to complete the sentence with “glass half full”.

She continues: “And it was so amazingly beautiful… I just wanna say how much I love you. And I’ve had way too much to drink tonight but we’re here because we love you! We’re here because you make our hearts go pitty pat.”

Khloé can then be heard in the background yelling: “I know and I love you too!”

Then saying that she is unable to “control herself”, Kris’ friend steps into the frame to “chime in” as Kris admits she’s had “a couple of drinks”.

“Not a couple!” her friend replies.

Taking to Instagram earlier that day, Kris posted a series of family photos and left a sweet message in praise of Khloé’s strength as she celebrates her birthday.

The photos posted along with the message included a sweet snap of Kris holding Khloé as a toddler, a more recent photo of the mum and daughter together and a photo of Khloé in a yellow polka dot dress as she enjoys some family fun in the sun.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful bunny @khloekardashian!!!!” her message began.

"I feel so blessed to get to go through this life being your mommy!! You are the most amazing daughter, sister, mommy, auntie, best friend, teacher, therapist, business woman and the funniest girl I know who looks at life with such a beautiful attitude.

“You are kind, loving, sweet, so smart, generous beyond measure, gracious and you have incredible character. You are the strongest woman I have ever met."

Her message continued: “You constantly teach the rest of us how to handle the most difficult things that life throws your way and you do it with such grace and integrity. I love you more than you will ever know and I thank God each and every day for you my gorgeous girl. Happy Birthday!!!!”
