Wendy Williams has sparked concern after appearing disorientated leaving a building in New York City on Monday, while also showing off her trim frame in a pair of small denim cut-off shorts.
The former talk-show host, who suffers from a raft of medical issues including lymphedema and Graves’ disease, displayed her slim waist as she spoke to photographers about going for a younger look.
Video footage shows Wendy, 58, attempting to leave a building in NYC before deciding to turn back on herself, after being unsure of the vehicle that she was meant to be travelling in.
‘I look 30,’ she tells photographers after walking to her car, but then suddenly pauses and turns around, stepping away from vehicle.
Stepping out: Wendy Williams left fans worried when she surfaced in New York City this week and was seen heading into a car Monday
In another video clip obtained by The Sun she is heard referencing her money woes saying: ‘Well, my American Express is broken, so I gotta take care of that.’
The comment echoed a remark she recently made to Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee that her American Express card is not functioning.
Earlier this year she also accused her former manager Bernie Young of using her ‘American Express card to hire an attorney to file a petition against’ her amid her legal battle over control of her finances, which is still currently unfolding.
When she was spotted out this Monday, she arrived at a car on the curb, opened the door and asked: ‘Where am I flying? This is not where I’m flying.’

Wendy then turned to the waiting photographers, apologized with a smile and began posing for them, asking: ‘How do I look? Sexy?’
In response to their compliments, she quipped that in spite of her age ‘clearly I look 30,’ and thanked the photographers for their kind words.
She then turned and walked away from the car back into the lobby of the building she had just exited, where she sat on a bench.
Shortly thereafter she reemerged from the building and her manager Will Selby, a jeweler whose nicknames include ‘Big Will’ and ‘Willdaboss,’ arrived on the scene.

Wendy then went back into the building again, leaving Will to tell the photographers he was her manager and confess that ‘I don’t know what’s going on.’
When Wendy stepped back out onto the sidewalk, she put her arm in Will’s and stood for the photographers before another man walked her to the car.
Wendy’s latest sighting comes amid an ongoing mystery about whether she has in fact married a police officer called Henry.
Last month Wendy informed Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee that he had gotten married, and he broadcast the news on his show.

However Will then publicly denied that Wendy was married again, telling Page Six that she was merely dating an NYPD officer whose name is Henry.
‘She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation,’ said Will. ‘Wendy doesn’t wish to disclose details at the moment.’
However Wendy then called Jason and insisted: ‘Everyone seems to have a problem with that – I’m married; I’m married, I don’t care who knows it, I’m married.’
She added: ‘Will sees no point in me getting married, but you know what, f*** Will – 14 years I’ve known him, and I’ve always said f*** him, in a good way.’

The talk-show icon has been candid about her health issues, including during a TMZ Live interview in June where she held up her foot to demonstrate how swollen and discolored it has become as a result of her lymphedema.
During the interview, which drew an outpouring of compassion from her fans because of her apparently disoriented behavior, she explained that she has feeling in only ‘maybe 5 percent of my feet’ because of her disorder.
‘Normally I would be in a wheelchair. I’m not in a wheelchair. I stand up,’ she said, explaining that when she stands ‘all I do is look down ’cause I don’t wanna fall down.’
Nearly five years ago, she passed out on the air during the live Halloween episode of her daytime-talk show, an incident she attributed to heat exhaustion as well as dehydration while wearing her Statue Of Liberty costume.
Over: She last appeared on the talk-show over a year ago before taking her summer hiatus – and then postponing her return again and again because of her health issues
In March 2019, after a hiatus from the show, she she emotionally announced on-air that she had been staying in a ‘sober house.’
The following month, in April 2019, she filed for divorce from her longtime husband Kevin after he had a baby daughter with his mistress Sharina Hudson.
After her marriage was over she claimed Kevin had wrongly confined her to rehab and that she had not really needed to dry out.
In an interview with DJ Suss One last year, she said she was ‘locked away in a rehabilitation for something I didn’t have to be rehabbed by.’
Incoming: A series of rotating guest hosts took her place, and in February it emerged that Sherri Shepherd (pictured) will permanently take over Williams’ time slot this autumn
Wendy, who was addicted to cocaine when she was a radio shock jock but quit the drug before her days on TV, claimed Kevin Sr. ‘acted like I was losing my mind, going crazy, reverting back to whatever or, you know, on the edge.’
She asserted that in reality the rehab had just been ‘a quiet place to put me’ while Sharina ‘got bigger and bigger and bigger’ as her pregnancy drew to a close.
Her last couple of years on her daytime talk show were a turbulent time personally for Wendy, who underwent not only her divorce but also her mother’s death.

A string of rotating guest hosts took her place, and one of the most popular was The View alum Sherri Shepherd, who is now permanently taking over Wendy’s time-slot.
The Wendy Williams Show aired its finale in June, hosted by Sherri, and ignited the anger of some fans for failing to have its original host on for an appearance.
In an interview with the New York Post, Wendy said she had not even been ‘asked’ to appear on the finale and declared there was ‘nothing I liked about’ the episode. ‘I sat in my apartment and I watched it. And [I was] like: “Eek!”‘
This January, Wells Fargo locked Wendy out of her accounts, branding her an ‘incapacitated person’ who needed a guardianship after her financial advisor allegedly claimed she was ‘of unsound mind.’

Wendy’s counsel has alleged in court papers that she was frozen out of her accounts after Lori Schiller, her financial advisor at Wells Fargo, expressed concerns.
Wells Fargo itself has argued in court that they had ‘strong reason to believe’ Wendy ‘is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.’
Wendy has accused Lori in court documents of ‘malfeasance’ and ‘improper conduct,’ but Wells Fargo stood behind the financial advisor, calling her ‘a 23-year veteran of the financial services industry with an unblemished record.’
In March Wendy went on Good Morning America to discuss her financial situation – though she declined to appear on camera and gave her interview over the phone.

Wendy maintained during the interview that she was ‘absolutely’ of sound mind, adding that allegations to the contrary were ‘crazy.’
‘I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. I don’t lie, I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hard working person,’ she said.
With regards to how her situation at Wells Fargo soured, Wendy said that ‘I want to spend more time with my family. And, you know, working out and waiting for the responses to my money situation and Wells Fargo. And they don’t like that.’
A member of Wendy’s team hopped on the call to discuss the matter, saying: ‘There was an individual internal to Wells Fargo that Wendy worked with.’
Legal battle: This January, Wells Fargo locked Wendy out of her accounts, branding her an ‘incapacitated person’ who needed a guardianship
The person on Wendy’s team added: ‘Wendy wanted to have her son begin to come in and have a little bit more say so and get a little bit of knowledge as to the inner runnings of Wendy Williams, so the person that was there was going to be losing some of the access to Wendy that she had prior and I don’t think that she liked that.’
In late March this year, Wendy posted an Instagram video slamming her former manager Bernie Young, who had filed to be declared her legal guardian.
She accused Bernie of using her own American Express card to hire an attorney in order to file a legal petition against her.
Wendy has argued in the past that Wells Fargo’s decision to lock her out of her accounts has left her unable to pay her bills.
However the bank has publicly stated: ‘As we have expressed to the Court, Wells Fargo is open to working with Ms. Williams’ counsel to release funds directly to her creditors for bills historically and regularly paid from her accounts.’
It emerged in May that a court-appointed guardian has been put in charge of her finances after several of her former staff raised concerns about her mental health.
