We were impressed with the features and look of the Devola Tower Fan for its price point, and it is what you can expect to get at the lower end of your budget.

It took no time at all to get this up and running out of the box, but you will need a screwdriver at hand to fix the tower fan to its base.

Despite this being a budget buy it gives off a much higher-end appeal, it has a sleek LED display and its digital interface is super responsive – and it comes with a handy remote to use from your bed, which we have to admit is small and easily lost (but that's just us).

The shutdown timer is also a nice little addition, which does come in handy at night as you don't have to worry about falling asleep and the fan going all night.

Of the home fans we've tested we have to praise the Devola for its whisper-quiet performance, even during the evening on high-speed it fades into the background, but that being said it only features 3 velocity speeds, and the lowest is almost not worth having on.

All in all, it performs well and looks the part but it isn't the fan to pin all your hopes on during a dramatic heatwave, this is better suited to promote airflow or for light use.

We have to admit when we first saw the Devola Desk Fan we didn't have high expectations, but we were seriously impressed with this little powerhouse.

There was no fuss with this as it works straight out of the box and looked the part too with a much sleeker appearance than your average desk fan.

As with the rest of the Devola range, it has a responsive LED display that gives it a high-end feel which we appreciated.

It comes with 9 speeds and at full blast is great at combating the heat, and we loved the oscillating feature which worked at a 90° vertical range and at 80° horizontally, which got the air in the room circulating.

It lives up to its name as one thing which really stood out was how quiet this machine is, especially at low speed. When you ramp things up to full power it's much quieter than your average fan but packs a punch in how effective it was at moving the air and cooling the room down.

We tested this Dreo Tower fan in the middle of a heatwave and we happily report it's well up to the task of keeping you cool all day and night.

It looks sleek and modern unlike your bog standard white tower fan, so will look the part wherever you are looking to put it in your home.

It also gears things up a notch with six power modes which range from a gentle breeze to something more substantial that'll help cool a mid-sized room, so is the perfect addition to a bedroom or living area.

It's got a sleep mode which comes in handy at night, which turns off the lights and sounds so you can rest without being disturbed but still get its cooling benefits.

As well as that, it has some impressive automated features, including the ability to match the temperature in the room, so it will up the power as your room gets hotter to regulate the temperature without you having to think about it at all.

It's the best tower fan we've tested in recent weeks thanks to its balance of performance and price.
