Amazon is selling a 10ft pool for less than £40 in the heatwave | The Sun

AMAZON is selling a 10ft children's inflatable pool for just under £40 as the second UK heatwave hits.

The Bestway Round Kids Inflatable Paddling Pool is available online for £38.95 down from £59.04, offering up a nifty 34% saving.

You can also get the pool in an 8ft size for just under £27.

The 10ft pool comes in at 0.76 metres high and weighs 7.5kg and delivery is free.

It won't take you an age to blow it up either as you can set it up tool-free.

Once it's blown up, which should take around 10 minutes, it can hold up to 3,800 litres.

However, one thing to bear in mind is that you might struggle to fill up the pool if you live an area where there's a hosepipe ban in place.

And you should be careful if you are on a water meter, as filling pools up can see costs add up quickly.

A water meter allows you to automatically track the amount of water you use. It is similar to a gas or electricity meter.

Your water supplier takes readings from your meter twice a year and works out how much to charge you for water and sewerage services.

You will be charged for how much you use, so if you're careful about how much water you use, having a meter installed might be the best option to help you lower you bills.

According to Water UK, a membership body representing the UK water industry, around half of UK households currently have a water meter.

It found that on average, households with them use less than those not on one as you're forced to think about how much you're using.

How did the pool compare to others?

Remember when buying items like this though, it's always important to shop around to see if you're actually getting a good deal.

Reading reviews on Amazon is a handy way to find out if a product is worth purchasing as well.

Out of 3,794 reviews on the pool, 62% come in at 5 star, 17% at 4 star and 10% at 1 star.
