While the UK WAGs have been staying on-board a £1bn cruiseliner this World Cup, the American wives and girlfriends have been having a very different experience all together.
It is understood that the wives and girlfriends of US players have been given permission to spend time with their partners in the luxurious five-star Marsa Malaz Kempinski, where they are staying.
In contrast, England’s partners are all staying on a super yacht during the tournament, and can only meet their boyfriends and husbands briefly at the end of the match.
The £1billion cruise liner boasts beauty salons, boutiques, dodgems, six swimming pools, 14 ocean-view jacuzzis and the longest dry-slide at sea titled The Venom Drop to keep them entertained between matches.

Bottom’s up: In addition to 13 restaurants and bars, the cruise liner features a micro-brewery and mixology classes in its Elixir gin bar
But while the WAGs will lap up the luxury of the swanky ship – complete with its very own shopping mall, roller disco rink and a range of clubs for children – it’s said that players won’t be allowed on board as they are set to form their own strict Covid bubble at the Souq Al Wakra hotel in Doha.
Elsewhere on the cruise liner, a Sportplex zone offers basketball, bumper cars and even a roller disco rink, meaning plenty of opportunities for fun, alongside more than 30 bars and cafes, as well as a micro-brewery and mixology classes in its Elixir gin bar.

England are set to take on their US counterparts in their second clash of the World Cup on Friday.
The match, which will kick off at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor at 7pm GMT (2pm ET), comes after England’s dramatic 6-2 victory over Iran on Monday – and the US’s 1-1 draw with Wales a few hours later.
Between matches, England’s glamorous WAGs have been sharing snaps of themselves relaxing on the £1billion luxury cruise liner they are calling home for the tournament, perfect for poolside selfies and a cocktail or two.
But they are far from the only ones who will be cheering on their partners in Qatar on Friday – whether that’s from home or the stands – and the US WAGs could give the British World Cup squad partners a run for their money.

They got together during college, since they both played soccer for St. Louis. In an interview with NewYorkRedBulls.com, Tim explained that he was instantly drawn in by her ‘smile’ and ‘great personality.’

He said she had complained about not being able to see the skyline clearly, when he responded, ‘The important stuff isn’t out there, it is right here,’ as he got down on one knee.
‘After some screaming, she did say yes,’ he continued. ‘We hugged and kissed and then she called her parents.’
