SAVVY Argos shoppers are snapping up a dehumidifier for just £50, and it'll help you reduce condensation.
Damp and mould can creep into our homes during the winter months, and with the cost of living growing, many of us are reluctant to put our heating on.
But there are alternatives to eliminate condensation and mould in your home.
According to experts at Uswitch, dehumidifiers normally use 185W – so they usually cost about 6p an hour to run.
That means it would cost £4.20 a week if you used it for one hour every week.
The Challenge 0.5 Litre Mini Dehumidifier is currently in stock online and is going for just £50.

Argos said it can remove a maximum of 300ml of water a day – which is great for smaller spaces.
Shoppers took to the Argos website to leave reviews.
One pleased shopper said: "Bought this to try and reduce window condensation in one room, which has also suffered with black mould around the window sill.
“After having used it for more than a week, I can say that window condensation has pretty much been eliminated.”

While another said: "I got this about a month ago for my bedroom it's brilliant – my clothes don't feel damp anymore, it really does collect a lot of water. It's a God send."
However, one reviewer wrote: “Only good for a small space, probably great if it was bigger. A lot of money for what it is.”
It's currently the cheapest dehumidifier showing on Argos' website, but it isn't the cheapest we've seen.
In comparison, Amazon is selling a portable 0.5L dehumidifier for £29 but it can only remove 250ml of water a day.
The same one Argos is selling is also being sold on Amazon, but for £69.40, so nearly £20 more.
B&Q is currently selling a dehumidifier for £45, although it's 0.3L.
Of course, do scout around for other deals and if you're willing to spend more money then it might be worth buying a bigger dehumidifier.

Ann said the best thing for mould and condensation is a dehumidifier.
Ann said: “Loads of you are struggling with this [condensation].
"The ideal solution is to use a desiccant dehumidifier it will reduce the moisture in the air and it blows out a stream of warm air.”
She said: “There are two types of dehumidifiers. Condensers, they work best at temperatures of 15 degrees and above. And desiccants which are better under 15 degrees.

For those who can't afford to buy one, Ann said: “In conditions like this where you can’t afford to heat your house, humans are wet and you will get mould.”
“You can ventilate open your windows and that will really help with mould but of course it will make it colder.”
