FAMILIES across the country will be cooking up a huge feast over the festive period, and many will want to know when they can head to their local store.
Christmas Day falls on a Sunday in 2022, which means there is an extra bank holiday on the following Tuesday – December 27.
This is on top of the usual Boxing Day bank holiday on Monday, December 26.
Asda has over 630 stores and opening times can vary across the UK.

Is Asda open over the Christmas Bank Holiday?
The following opening times apply to most Asda stores over the Christmas and New Year period.
Stores will be shut on Christmas Day, and on Boxing Day, they'll be open from 9am to 6pm.
Then on Tuesday, December 27 from 8am to 8pm.
From Wednesday 28 to Thursday 29, normal opening hours will resume.
