The “Bachelor” alum is engaged to his girlfriend after two years of dating.
Although it is not clear when Viall, 42, got down on one knee, the couple shared engagement photos in a joint Instagram slideshow Thursday.
“For the rest of my life, it’s you,” the duo wrote alongside PDA pics.
Viall kissed the 25-year-old surgical technologist’s hand in the first photo, and Joy continued showing her engagement ring in further snaps.
Fellow Bachelor Nation members gushed over the relationship milestone in the comments section.
“the most beautiful night❤️ ily guys sm,” Victoria Fuller wrote. “congratulations to my people!!!!!”
Fuller’s boyfriend, Greg Grippo, added, “So happy for you both.”
Since the couple began dating in July 2020, Viall has played coy when asked about proposing.
The “Viall Files” podcast host told People in February 2022 that he is “not a big advocate of timelines.”
Four months later, he admitted on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that he was “talking about [the possibility] more” with Joy.
“You get to a place where you don’t want to have to reassure your partner that you want to marry them or want to get engaged,” he explained in the June 2022 interview.
“We both have a level of wanting it to be romantic and a surprise, rather than knowing today is the day.”
Viall has been engaged before, proposing to Vanessa Grimaldi during the Season 21 finale of “The Bachelor” in March 2017. The reality stars split five months later.
Viall also considered an engagement during his stint on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2016.
While the ABC personality checked out rings for Jen Saviano at the time, he ultimately chose not to get down on one knee.
