Beauty shopper finds incredible £30 deal on Beauty Works Hot Brush loved by Molly-Mae

Christmas may be over but beauty gift sets are still available on shop shelves – and some of them have come down in price to absolute bargains. One steal being highlighted this week is Beauty Works’ Speed Styler Gift Set, usually£120 here, but available in select Boots stores now for just £30.

The find comes from user Stacy in Facebook’s popular Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK Facebook group. Stacy shared the news in a picture post with grateful group members.

“My bargain from Boots. £30 but still £120 online. I’m putting it away for my daughter’s birthday!” she writes.

Dozens of Facebook users have since asked her where and how she managed to nab this trending tool for £90 less than its usual retail price because the item isn’t currently discounted online. Though she doesn’t give the store she got the straightening Hot Brush in, she does say that it can be found in the giftset section in Boots stores and that the discounted price will show on the shelf.

We say it’s definitely worth heading down to your local Boots shop to have a little hunt for this absolute bargain. Like Stacy says, it’s a perfect gift to snap up and hide away before a birthday.

The tool itself is just one of Beauty Works’ celeb-loved buys. Molly-Mae Hague, aka queen of the loose wave and the high bun, has been raving about the brand since long before she even entered the Love Island villa back in 2019. Though the Hot Brush doesn’t feature in one of her own collaboration kits, we’d guess it almost definitely features in her hair tool selection.

Other members of the Facebook group took to the comment section of the post with suggestions for other bargain hot brush buys. One tool that comes up repeatedly in the suggestions is Lidl’s Silvercrest Hair Straightening Brush, £14.99 in stores, which is being called by shoppers a “dupe” for GHD’s Glide Straightening Hot Brush,£159 here.

The Silvercrest range has a tendency to sell out fast, but Lidl has just confirmed the bargain styling tools from the range have just been restocked in stores.
