She’s not a “Housewife,” but she is real — even when it comes to “I’m Real” singer Jennifer Lopez.
Bethenny Frankel shared her thoughts on the multi-hyphenate’s JLo Beauty line on Tuesday, putting the “Mother” actress’ serum and eye cream to the test in one of her signature TikTok reviews.
“I’ve met J.Lo,” she told followers. “I don’t think J.Lo is a big fan of mine, but a lot of people aren’t fans of mine, and I’m still going to be totally honest about what I think of their skincare.”
And while Frankel often keeps it frank about celebrity brands, including Kim Kardashian’s Skkn by Kim line — which she once called “impractical at best” — she instead gave a positive review of Lopez’s That J.Lo Glow Serum ($118).
“It’s a very nice, simple serum,” she said while slathering on the “glide-y” product — which Page Six Style tested when Lopez launched her skincare company in 2021.
The “ReWives” podcast host also offered her take on the That Fresh Take Under Eye Cream ($41), saying she considers herself an “expert” on the subject.
“She’s a rich bitch, and it’s a rich bitch under eye cream,” concluded the star, before remarking that the “burst” of celebrity beauty brands in the industry is “crazy” and “explosive.”
“She’s dying to bust into this you can tell… and it’s just not popping the way other celebrity brands are,” the star added of Lopez, before saying eponymous brands “don’t pop the same way as it having a different name” — and citing Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty lines.
Frankel also compared JLo Beauty’s “glamorous” packaging to the likes of the other celebrity brands, saying she’s “finding that a lot of these brands are very understated; if you look at Rare Beauty, it’s very subtle.”
“Sometimes it feels like these are all show and no go where you spent the money on the packaging, but what’s in the actual product?” she later added, before asking, “Should celebrities be in the beauty space?”

While the business mogul has previously spilled her unfiltered takes on star-helmed brands — including calling Kylie Cosmetics a “scam” — she’s also given positive reviews to others, including Rare Beauty.
In a TikTok earlier this spring, she praised products including “user-friendly” Bronzer Sticks ($26), “beautiful” Liquid Luminizer Highlight ($25), and “really elite” brushes, including the Liquid Touch Concealer Brush ($18).
Frankel’s latest video comes after she spilled her favorite gift picks to Page Six Style, telling us her Mother’s Day wish list included “a social media lighting system that works to perfection” and “a good glam closet organizer.”
