Black alien removed from Instagram after slicing body parts for grisly posts

A body modification fan was removed from Instagram after posting gory content.

Anthony Loffredo, who is on a mission to transform himself into a "black alien", used to post progress pictures on the platform.

He garnered 1.3 million followers by sharing snaps of the tattoos that cover him from head to toe.

And some kept up with his journey for the more grisly posts, which included the results of him cutting off body parts.

In recent years, he's had the middle fingers on his left hand removed to form a "claw".

He's also got reptilian-style implants all over his head and arms, as well as a snake-like split-tongue.

But Anthony, 34, is unable to post on his main account now as the @the_black_alien_project page has been deactivated.

And while the Frenchman has assured followers that he'll be "coming back soon", we're yet to see it return.

For now, he's posting on his back-up Instagram page @alien_tattoo_abstract.

He also keeps fans updated on Twitter – @blackalienproj2 – and TikTok – @black_alien_project.

Daily Star has contacted Instagram for further comment but we are currently awaiting a response.

Even though his social media following has taken a hit, it's unlikely Anthony will give up his love for body modification.

Back in 2017, Anthony spoke to French newspaper Midi Libre about his transformation.

In quotes translated by Sinister Isles, he said: “From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body.

“I had a click when I was a security guard. I realised that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.”

The tattoo enthusiast said his body is “under construction” – and admitted he’s “constantly” making plans to get more work done.

Anthony added: "It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans for the next few months."

By experimenting with his looks, Anthony is able to test out what it’s like to play different characters.

He said: “I love getting into the shoes of a scary character.

“I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets, he has fun.

“I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”
