Bridgertons Simone Ashley looks incredible with hip-length hair makeover

Diversity is the name of Ashley Simone’s name, with the actress appearing in everything from Netflix’s Bridgerton and Sex Education, to Disney’s live action remake of The Little Mermaid, but it seems she’s keen to show she can do a diverse beauty look too.

The British actress shared a series of photos to her Instagram account last week showing off a dramatic new hairstyle as she attended the Versace X Dua Lipa show in Cannes.

The Bridgerton star stood out from the other guests, who were almost all wearing black, as she wore a pink, lilac and green cut out mini dress from Versace. Her followers said the dress was giving them major 13 Going on 30 vibes, in reference to the iconic green, blue and purple dress that Jennifer Garner wore in the hit 00s movie.

However it wasn’t just her colourful ensemble that made Simone stand out; it was her dramatic new extra long hair.

Simone’s usually mid-length locks had been replaced by some ultra-long extensions that hung down to her hips and were styled in soft, loose waves for an easy, care-free look that worked with her fitted mini dress perfectly.

The extensions blended seamlessly into her natural hair, which is considerably shorter than the extra inches that celebrity hairstylistPeter Luxhad added for the event. Just three weeks ago Simone attended the world premiere of The Little Mermaid in LA, in which she has a supporting role, with a much shorter, shoulder-skimming hairstyle.

The actress had curled her dark locks for the occasion, and wore a stunning pink mini dress for the occasion. A week later, she walked the red carpet (which was actually blue) for the UK premiere of the movie, with noticeably longer hair styled in wet look mermaid-inspired waves and a nude Victoria Beckham dress.

Simone had briefly returned to her natural length hair whilst in Cannes, with hairstylist Peter sharing a behind the scenes video of Simone’s shorter hair in tight curls during a photoshoot.

However, it seems Simone has been enjoying the extra lengthy hair looks when it comes to major events, and made her hip-length waves her longest hairstyle yet for the Versace fashion party.
