Chanel worker says cheating husbands would always buy their wives the same gift

An ex-Chanel employee claims men who are cheating on their wives have a go-to Christmas gift that they buy for their significant other – and their bit on the side.

Shannon Hill recently shared a video where she decided to "spill the tea" on what unfaithful men would buy for both of their “lucky” ladies.

In a video captioned “It’s tea time ladies!” the former sales assistant, who goes by @shannonhillnews on TikTok, explained that husbands would come in around “the holiday season” to purchase their wives all kind of different gifts.

But the woman, who worked at the Chanel counter during college, claimed there was always one dead giveaway that they were up to no good.

She said: "‘I have got a little story, a little tea for you guys, if you will, about what husbands buy for not only their wife, but their mistresses too.

"I was only 19 at the time, but I learned this quick.”

“Husbands would really come in and buy their wives favourite things and have us wrap it really nicely.

“A few of the husbands that would come in, they would come in and buy their wife her favourite fragrance, they’d get it all wrapped really nicely.

“Then they would buy the same fragrance for their mistress.”

She explained that the reason why the blokes would buy the same scent was because "they did not want to leave their mistresses house smelling like a different woman”.

However, she also added that there was one fragrance that seemed to be the most popular among the men who would do this.

She added: “It was never No. 5 because people would come in and buy that for their mum. It was never the Chance perfumes. It was always Coco Mademoiselle.”

Shannon added that it didn’t take long for her and her co-workers to figure out who the cheating husbands were.

She said: "If you worked there long enough and if you knew the guys that would come in, you would figure it out – pretty easily.

“And sometimes in a smaller town you kind of knew what was going on. Us counter girls, we always have the tea.”
