Couple get matching Rubik’s Cube tattoos to mark iconic moment they met at club
A couple who first met at a club called 'Rubix' got inked with 'iconic' identical tattoos to never forget the night.
Giles Saunders, 54, and Wendy Holland, 55, met under the flashing lights of the dancefloor at Rubix Bar and Nightclub in Colchester, Essex.
After their chance meeting at the end of 2022, the pair decided to make sure they'll never forget the moment their paths crossed.

So, Giles – a grammar school maths teacher – and Wendy – a driver for a school minibus – opted to hop in the tattoo chair and get etched with matching ink.
Instead of inking each others' names onto their body, the pair honoured their meeting place by getting an image of the Rubik's Cube tattooed.
Giles explained: "We decided to get the tattoos done as we met at Rubix last year in November.
"Rubix Bar and Nightclub is a special place for us as were introduced to the venue by a mutual friend and the rest is history as we now have matching Rubix tattoos and are engaged to get married."
The newly-engaged couple – who already both have body art – paid £240 for the pair of tattoos.
Along with the iconic six-sided colourful gaming cube, Giles and Wendy both have the date they met inked on a scroll over the toy design.
Despite getting recently engaged, the couple are yet to finalise a date for their big day as Wendy – who is on her third marriage – and Giles – who is on his fourth – are saving up to buy a house.
Jeremy Durrant, the director of Rubix Bar and Nightclub, shared his excitement about the unique gesture from the loved up couple.
He said: "I can honestly say this is a first for us, but what an honour to have two cherished regulars permanently brand themselves with our logo.
"The team and I are thrilled that Giles and Wendy found love while enjoying themselves at our venue, and I have already prepared my hat for the wedding."
