Dirty-minded B&M shoppers in stitches over ‘Perky Nana’ chocolate bar

The people who run B&M's Instagram page got more than they bargained for this week when promoting a chocolate bar.

Social media managers of the discount store took to the page to promote a banana and chocolate chew bar.

However, cheeky Brits couldn't help but joke about the name of the Cadbury product, which is titled 'Perky Nana'.

The Instagram post saw someone holding up the chocolate bar against the shelf of the store.

The caption read: "Banana in chocolate – yes or no?!

"This Perky Nana bar is a Banana flavoured chew bar covered with delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate – and it's a must try!

"Available for just £1 – all the way from New Zealand!

"Who'll give this a shot?!"

It seems the New Zealand lingo didn't quite translate, with one fan writing: "I read it as nana, as in grandma."

Another joked: "My mate's got a perky nana – her names Eileen."

A third shopper wrote to their pal: "You're a perky nana," as they quipped back: "I wish I was."

While a fourth chuckled: "This made me laugh, I didn't read it as banana."

Despite the cheeky comments, others did seem excited for the choccy bar, as one person exclaimed: "Yes, I've been looking for these forever."

While another added: "I will try this for sure."

However, someone else called the chocolate bars a "rancid idea".

Who knew one tiny chocolate bar could cause so much drama, eh?
