A dog has been snatched while its owner turned around to buy him treats in Glasgow town centre on Sunday.
The tan Doberman Cross called Link, was stolen outside McDonald’s while owner Alasdair Crawford went to buy him chicken nuggets for being a ‘good boy’.
Alasdair, who lives in the city centre, has sent out urgent pleas in hopes to find his best friend and his ‘rock’.
Speaking to Glasgow Live Alasdair said: ‘He has been my rock for seven years. I’ve looked after him through sickness and in health.
‘He has a rare genetic condition that requires a lot of medical care, and without question he has gotten the care he needed every single time.

‘I’m worried sick he’s such a big personality and my life revolves around him.’
An eyewitness told Alasdair that a man allegedly untied Link and ran towards King Street where they both disappeared.
An appeal to anyone who might be able to help him find link has been sent out on the Facebook page Lost Dogs in Glasgow.
The post read: ‘Please help find my stolen dog. He was stolen during the early hours today. He is a black and tan Doberman x. Last seen King St Glasgow.
‘Phone line set up: 07441451835 (this number is only for this) I appreciate your support, Working together, we can ensure his safety.’
The post, which racked up 1,300 shares, also shared a slew of snaps of the pooch.
Many rushed to the comments to show their support to Alasdair and to pray for Link’s safe return.

To which Alasdair replied: ‘Thank you for your kind words. I’m doing everything I can to bring the perpetrator to justice. Thank you for your support.’
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Around 2.30am on Sunday, 16 April, we received a report of the theft of a dog in the Trongate area of Glasgow. Enquiries are ongoing.’
