Emily in Paris Lily Collins looks like a Parisian dream with a new full fringe

It’s confirmed: Emily in Paris is coming back to Netflix in December for series three. The star of the show, Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper, is also returning with an updated haircut for the new season – and it’s very “Parisian chic”.

Lily has been showing off her new look over on Instagram, as well as giving her fans some insider intel on what they can expect from the new episodes. The biggest change is definitely her hair, which now features a full, eyelash skimming fringe. The rest of her hair has been kept to long layers, while her colour has gone from a dark brown to a mid-toned brunette.

“First look at@emilyinparisSaison Trois!! Get ready for new looks, new locations, new love triangles… Merci France for being a home away from home and embracing us yet again. So proud of this cast and crew and cannot WAIT for you all to see what our girl Emily gets up to! Get ready for another wild ride,” Lily captions a new still from the upcoming series.

She also asks in a second post: “What do we think of Emily’s new look?” The clip shows Emily cutting her bangs in the bathroom of her Paris apartment – very lockdown 2020. We don’t know yet what prompts the marketing exec to go for the chop but we imagine it might be man related.

Fans have responded en masse to Lily’s question of what they think about her new look…

“You know I love a good bang look! And I LOVE a good December binge session,” says one, while another writes: “Absolutely cannot wait to dive into the psychology of bangs.”

A third adds: “She bangs, she bangs.”

In other Netflix hair makeover news from the week, Shay Mitchell – aka Emily Fields of Pretty Little Liars – made a big change with the help of an autumnal red gloss. She originally took to her page earlier in the month to ask fans whether she should go red or platinum for the new season, and then went on to share the results of the poll which showed 69% of people voted for red.

Considering reds and coppers are the “it” colours of A/W22, Shay is bang on trend.
