Will Smith: Made headlines across the world after slapping Chris Rock on the Oscars stage
Will Smith sent shockwaves across the globe when he slapped Chris Rock (pictured) during the 2022 Oscars
The actor was banned from the Academy Awards for the next 10 years due to the incident, which has had a massive impact on his legacy
Smith brushed off the tumultuous situation by partying to celebrate his Best Actor win on the night, but has since apologized for his actions
Will Smith’s now infamous Oscars slap occurred during the 94th Academy Awards on March 27.
Among the A-list presenters was comedian Chris Rock, who hit the stage during the ceremony to present the award for Best Documentary Feature Film.
Before handing out the trophy, Rock made an ill-timed joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. Jada has openly spoken about suffering from alopecia in the past.
Smith, who became enraged by the jab, stormed the stage and proceeded to slap Rock for making the joke.
Smith’s shocking assault occurred moments before he took home the Best Actor gong for his portrayal of tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams’s devoted father in the film, King Richard.
Chris Rock was visibly shocked after Smith came onstage and slapped him
In a rambling acceptance speech a sobbing Smith admitted that ‘love makes you do crazy things’ – but tellingly failed to apologize to Rock for his assault. He did, however, apologize to the Academy and his fellow nominees.
In response to the incident, the Academy placed a 10-year Oscars ban on Will. In a statement, they declared that the 2022 Academy Awards were ‘overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behavior we saw Mr Smith exhibit on stage.’
It took four months for the Men In Black star to issue an apology to Rock, which came in the form of an emotional YouTube video.
‘Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk,’ he said directly into the camera. Smith noted that he has since reached out to Rock, but the comedian was not ready.
Will has been working hard to rehabilitate his once squeaky-clean image by speaking openly about that ‘horrific night’ and admitting his wrongdoings.
As the actor attempts to get his $346 million career back on track with the film, he recently said he ‘completely understands’ if people were deterred from watching his movies.
Indeed, the fallout of the incident continues to impact the actor’s career, as it is expected he will not feature in the awards season race due to his actions.
Smith was sensationally snubbed in all categories at the 80th annual Golden Globes nominations on December 12, despite the actor embarking on an ‘apology tour’ while promoting the movie.
Adam Levine: Called out for sending flirty messages to other women behind wife Behati Prinsloo’s back
Adam Levine became a trending topic following a sexting scandal in which he admittedly sent flirty text messages to other women – while married to model Behati Prinsloo
Sumner Stroh, 23, took to TikTok to reveal she had a secret relationship with the married Maroon 5 frontman that lasted ‘about a year’
Speaking in a viral TikTok video that has now gone viral, Stroh said she felt compelled to speak publicly after her friend threatened to sell her story to the tabloids
Stroh claimed Levine later revealed his wife was expecting their third child and asked if he could name the child Sumner, leaving her horrified
In a statement posted on his Instagram account, the lead singer of Maroon 5 said he had used ‘poor judgment’ during his social media interactions
Adam Levine became a trending topic following a sexting scandal in which he admittedly sent flirty text messages to Instagram model Sumner Stroh, but denied there was an affair.
In September, Stroh went on TikTok and shared intimate messages exchanged with the singer.
The video clip featured flirtatious notes and suggestions of in-person meetings. In the snippet, Stroh said she felt ‘manipulated’ by the star.
Stroh said that Levine indicated his relationship with wife Behati Prinsloo was on rocky ground, but when the supermodel announced she was pregnant with their third child, it prompted Stroh to speak out.
Stroh shared screenshots of their flirty exchanges on Instagram
With news of the pregnancy, Levine allegedly told his mistress that he wanted to name the child after her.
Following the revelation, Levine shared a post addressing the cheating rumors, admitting that he ‘crossed the line’ with his sexts and other messages.
‘A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air,’ Levine said on social media. ‘I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.
‘I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.’
He continued: ‘My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.’
Two more women came forward on social media accusing Levine of sending them flirty – and at times sexual – messages.
Comedian Maryka and a woman named Alyson Rose posted screenshots of their alleged Instagram conversations with the Maroon 5 frontman.
Levine and the Namibia-born Prinsloo married back in 2014, and share their beverage line, Calirosa tequila.
The twosome have put on a united front in the wake of the accusations of infidelity, appearing out and about together regularly, and Victoria’s Secret model has still not spoken publicly on the ordeal.
Cara Delevingne: Sparked mental health concerns after making a string of erratic public appearances
Cara Delevingne sparked concern for her mental health with a string of erratic public appearances this year
The 30-year-old model was pictured looking extremely disheveled and walking around without her shoes on when trying to board a private jet in September
Delevingne appeared distressed alongside her dog, Alfie, after not taking off while a member of her security detail watched on
Supermodel Cara Delevingne sparked concern for her mental wellbeing this year after a string of erratic public appearances prompted speculation of drug abuse.
In early September, the model left people raising their eyebrows when she was seen smoking a pipe of some kind while sitting alone in a car.
Then, days later, she left her fans, friends and family members worried when she was photographed arriving at the private airport in Van Nuys, California, and appeared unable to control her body movements – dropping her phone multiple times as she boarded the aircraft.
Following her erratic behavior on the tarmac, Cara, who donned nothing on her feet except a pair of dirty socks, sat on the plane for 45 minutes before she ultimately disembarked and got back into her awaiting car.
Cara’s friends and family reportedly considered an intervention (pictured with her sister Poppy in 2019)
After that, reports emerged that claimed her family was considering an intervention for the troubled star.
‘We are all incredibly concerned. The situation has been building for a few weeks now, and Cara’s family is involved,’ a close friend told The Sun afterwards.
‘There is talk of staging some kind of intervention and making sure Cara gets the help she may well need. She has been burning the candle at both ends of late, and it’s clearly taking its toll.’
In October, Australian actress Margot Robbie appeared upset just hours after leaving the home of her close friend.
The Oscar-nominated star was seen struggling to contain her emotions after leaving a rented home in West Hollywood to travel to Los Angeles International airport about 5pm.
Robbie had been spotted leaving Delevingne’s $7m West Hollywood house about 1pm – two hours after Delevingne’s socialite sister Poppy had also been seen exiting in a black SUV. It was not clear if Cara was at home when Robbie was there.
During an interview earlier in the year, Delevingne admitted she was surprised that she reached the age of 30 after celebrating her birthday in Ibiza.
‘Honestly, I didn’t think I’d be alive at this age,’ the model admitted to Stylist magazine. ‘I literally couldn’t wait to turn 30, because the 20s are f***ing hard.’
She continued: ‘You’re basically still a teenager — but you’re meant to be an adult and everyone’s telling you this is the best time of your life.’
However, the star has appeared to overcome her recent troubles and looked the picture of good health while making a series of glamorous appearance following her troubling outings.
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach: Good Morning America hosts made headlines after their love affair was revealed by DailyMail.com
Good Morning America hosts T.J. Holmes, 45, and Amy Robach, 49, were taken off air following Dailymail.com’s report revealing their affair in November
It was revealed that the co-hosts of the lunchtime segment GMA3 are locked in a passionate romance despite both being married to their respective spouses for the past 12 years
Good Morning America hosts T.J. Holmes, 45, and Amy Robach, 49, were taken off air following Dailymail.com’s bombshell report revealing their affair in November.
The married co-hosts of the lunchtime segment GMA3 were revealed to have been sharing much more than a mutual love of running and the great outdoors.
In fact, they have been locked in a passionate romance despite both being married to their respective spouses for the past 12 years.
It is not known when or how Holmes’s wife 44-year-old attorney, Marilee Fiebig, and Robach’s husband, former Melrose Place actor Shue, 55, learned of the romance, but both couples went their separate ways in August this year, according to sources.
At first the exposed couple seemed determined to brazen it out after the relationship went public – with Holmes sparking disbelief when he appeared alongside Robach and made light of the scandal after their relationship became public.
The lovers were spotted together in Manhattan’s Financial District weeks after the news of their relationship broke
Then, speaking at the end of that first week he joked that it had been ‘a great week’ and that he wished it would ‘just keep going.’
However, the pair were then taken off air with sources telling DailyMail.com that the lovers have been removed from GMA3 ‘indefinitely.’
ABC News President Kim Godwin made the announcement during an internal call the following Monday, calling the romance a distraction.
‘I want to say that while that relationship is not a violation of company policy, I have really taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization,’ Godwin said, according to TMZ.
‘This is something I’m not going to talk, we’re not going to talk about on this call until there is more to be said. I’m asking that we stop the whispering in the hallways. You know, we can’t operate with gossip, and speculation and rumors. We need to stay focused on the work.
‘If you think there is something that management needs to know, you can always call HR or, as we’ve said, talk to a manager that you trust. If you think there is something that we need to know.’
Holmes and Robach had remained tight-lipped since DailyMail.com revealed the two have been secretly dating despite being married.
Meanwhile, the pair have made it clear they are determined to keep up appearances after they were pictured stepping out for lunch together in Manhattan by DailyMail.com on December 15.
Kylie Jenner: Branded a ‘climate criminal’ after using her $70 million private jet for a 12-minute flight
Billionaire Kylie Jenner landed in hot water after taking a less than 30-minute flight on her customized private jet
Flaunting: Jenner regularly posts pictures of her wealth from inside of her plane, despite previously forking out thousands on eco friendly products for her daughter (right, on the jet)
Jenner has been called a ‘climate criminal’ for reportedly taking a 12-minute flight on a private jet after coming under fire for boasting about her and Travis Scott’s planes
Kylie Jenner came under fire in July after it was revealed she has used her $70 million private jet for a 12-minute flight across California.
The 26-mile journey would have taken just 39 minutes by car, prompting the billionaire to be branded a ‘climate criminal’ for her short-haul journey.
The 25-year-old mogul took her $70 million ‘Kylie Air’ private plane twice across the county on July 13, and again just two days later on July 15.
The Bombardier Global 7500 jet travelled for 35 minutes from Palm Springs, just outside LA, to Van Nuys, near her $36 million Hidden Hills mansion on July 15.
Two hours later the mum-of-two then flew from Van Nuys, to Camarillo in Ventura County, California – a trip which took just 12 minutes.
Earlier in the month, Kylie had also flown from Camarillo to Van Nuys a trip of just 17 minutes. She had then taken a 29-minute flight, going from from Van Nuys to Palm Springs.
Experts at CelebrityJets revealed her trip would have cost about $1,600 to just fuel the plane, but if the private jet had been hired it would have set her back about $7,200.
Had the star driven the 26-mile trip from her home in Hidden Hills, to Camarillo it would have taken her just 39 minutes without the horrendous traffic that is usual in those areas.
But instead, she drove 30 minutes in the wrong direction to Van Nuys airport before jumping on the plane – with the journey taking longer despite the 12-minute flight.
Over the years, the reality star has used her social media urging her fans to go green to save the planet.
Indeed, Jenner consistently plugged the eco-friendly products she buys for her four-year-old daughter, Stormi, as well as telling her 359 million social media fans she was going ‘vegan and clean’ with her products because it was ‘time to elevate.’
Aviation experts have branded the star as ‘irresponsible’ after revealing that it would have cost Kylie at least $1600 to fuel the car.
Paul Charles, CEO of travel consultancy The PC Agency, told DailyMail.com: ‘Private jets certainly have their place, especially with so many delays and cancellations for consumers using airports globally at the moment.
‘But the focus should be on responsible travel, for example taking private jets and using carbon offset schemes, or taking jets which are powered by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
‘Taking one for 12 minutes when the car journey would have been more appropriate is the height of irresponsibility. ‘
Jenner purchased the plane in 2020 for a rumored $72.8 million and fashioned it with a whole lot of neon, a full bar and Hermès blankets over every seat.
Many other celebrities have been criticized for their luxury air travel, particularly on short journeys, despite the fact they often speak out about climate change.
The likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Taylor Swift, Drake and Kim Kardashian also came under fire for his use of private plans – despite preaching about climate change.
Award-winner Joaquin Phoenix called out stars at the 2020 Oscars saying: ‘We don’t have to take private jets to Palm Springs.’
James Corden: Branded ‘most abusive customer ever’ by NYC restaurant owner for berating and yelling at servers over omelet
James Corden was forced to issue a groveling apology after he was accused of berating staff at New York City restaurant Balthazar
The saga began when owner Keith McNally, 71, posted two separate examples of Corden’s ‘extremely nasty’ behavior at the French brasserie
Julia, Corden’s wife (pictured), ordered an egg-yolk omelet because of an allergy to egg whites
In October, James Corden was forced to issue a groveling apology after he was accused of berating staff at New York City restaurant Balthazar.
The saga began when Keith McNally, 71, posted two separate examples of Corden’s ‘extremely nasty’ behavior at Balthazar, the French brasserie, where he said he had yelled at the server.
In his original post, McNally revealed he had banned the British star from his restaurant and explained: ‘After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic.
‘Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: “Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that.”
In a second incident, McNally claims that Corden was dining with his wife, Julia Carey, at the eatery on October 9 for brunch.
He says that Corden asked for a table outside, and wife Carey ordered an egg yolk omelet with a salad.
The couple complained to the server that there was ‘a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk’ and sent the dish back.
McNally added: ‘The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad.
‘That’s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet myself!”
‘M.K (server) was very apologetic and brought G. (floor manager) over to the table.
‘He returned the dish, and after that, everything was fine. He gave them promo Champagne glasses to smooth things out.
‘G. said that Corden was pleasant to him but nasty to the server. M.K. was very shaken, but professional that she is, continued to finish her shift.’
Corden reportedly yelled at waitstaff after his wife received the wrong omelet order (stock image)
After Corden called to apologize for his behavior, McNally lifted his ban
Corden later denied the restaurant’s version of events, insisting he did not ‘yell like crazy’ and claiming for the first time that the reason he was so upset is that his wife was given food she has ‘seriously allergic’ to.
Appearing on his Late Late Show, the comedian conceded that he’d been ‘ungracious’ to the waitstaff at Balthazar, but tried again to explain himself.
Corden insisted he didn’t scream or make any ‘derogatory remarks.’ His only offense was making the ‘unnecessary’ and ‘snide’ comment that he’d ‘make the omelet himself’ if the kitchen staff were unable to.
He also claimed the dish was prepared wrongly ‘three times’ – one more than had previously been claimed – and that his wife Julia has ‘a serious food allergy.’
It was the first time he’d offered that piece of information, despite giving an interview to The New York Times where he said he’d done nothing wrong.
Corden said that after seeing McNally’s post he had ‘immediately’ contacted him to ‘tell him how upset I was.’
‘(I told him) how upset I was that anybody was hurt by anything that I had done and anything that I had said and we had a good talk. He appreciated the call. I was happy that we got to clear the air. And I felt like we dealt with it privately… but by this point, the story was out there and more people were upset,’ he said.
After showing a series of scathing tweets to his audience, he continued: ‘I get it. I totally understand. I understand everybody getting upset and I accept everybody’s opinion.
‘I also hate, as I said to the owner that day, that I’ve ever upset anybody ever. It was never my intention. It just wasn’t. I love that restaurant. I love the staff there.
‘I hope I’m allowed in again one day so when I’m back in New York I can go there and apologize in person, which is something I will absolutely do.’
Ned Fulmer from the Try Guys: Busted for cheating on wife with his engaged producer, which led to him being fired
Ned Fulmer was caught cheating on his wife, Ariel (pictured), in a New York City club with a producer of his Try Guys show, Alexandria Herring
Fulmer was exposed cheating with his producer Alexandria Herring (pictured with her fiance Will Thayer) when when a sharp-eyed clubgoer recorded the pair making out
Herring’s fiancé posted the messages he received on Reddit to prove that she had cheated on him with married Fulmer
Popular YouTube star Ned Fulmer was fired from his hit show, The Try Guys, after it was revealed that he was cheating on his wife, Ariel Fulmer, with an employee.
The saga began when a sharp-eyed person at a New York City club recorded the Fulmer and Alexandria Herring making out.
The bar patron contacted a Reddit user, who appears to be Herring’s fiancé, Will Thayer.
He then posted the messages he received to prove that Fulmer and Herring were making out.
‘So basically I went out to Niagara the club last night and saw her making out with Ned from the Try Guys, I have video if needed,’ the unnamed accuser, in messages to Thayer, said.
Thayer then asked the person where it occurred before being told ‘the entire time they were making out. He was touching her too all that stuff.’
While the posts to Reddit only show grabs from the video and not the videos themselves, this was apparently enough for Thayer to conclude his girlfriend had cheated on him.
Thayer said he spoke to Fulmer’s wife Ariel for an hour about the allegations before he deleted all pictures with Herring from his Instagram and made his account private.
Much of it appeared to be unproven speculation until recently when the Try Guys released an official statement on their Instagram confirming Fulmer was no longer with the group.
‘Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together. We thank you for your support as we navigate this change,’ the statement read.
The statement from the group was backed up by a following statement from Fulmer, who admitted the affair.
‘Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel,’ Fulmer said.
‘The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention,’ he continued.
Try Guys began in 2014 when the members, who were then employees at Buzzfeed, began making content centering around them trying new things
Fulmer, pictured here with Ariel, was known for consistently talking about his wife in his content
The pair were seen loved-up across their content and even released a cookbook last year together called: ‘The Date Night Cookbook.’
Just after that, Ariel Fulmer released a statement on her Instagram that read: ‘Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me – it means a lot. Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.’
Fulmer and his wife share two sons: Wesley, who was born in April 2018, and Finley, born in November 2020.
The Try Guys started at Buzzfeed in 2014 when the four men were employees at the publication and started creating videos trying new things.
Herring starred in a separate YouTube show called Food Babies, but also served as a producer for the Try Guys.
Issuing a statement about the situation days later, Fulmer’s co-hosts said they were ‘shocked and saddened’ to learn about his indiscretion and explained why they decided to fire him from their company.
Fulmer has edited out of most of their un-aired material, the trio – Keith Habersberger, 35, Zach Kornfeld, 32, and Eugene Lee Yang, 36 – revealed, and erased from marketing and publicity work.
They confirmed that they were alerted on Labor Day to the existence of footage showing their fellow co-founder, Fulmer, passionately kissing Herring, who is a producer for their show.
The three said that Fulmer was fired from their company on September 16.
‘Ned confirmed the reports and since confirmed that this had been going on for some time, which was obviously very shocking to us,’ Habersberger said.
‘And we just want you to know that we had no idea this was going on. All of that information was just as shocking to us as all of this has been for you this week.’
Fulmer is married to Ariel Fulmer, who made frequent appearances on the YouTube show, and the couple have two young sons.
The influencer and his wife also hosted a podcast together called Baby Steps – an unvarnished look at how they raise their ‘Instagram-worthy family.’
Whoopi Goldberg: Suspended from The View after claiming the Holocaust ‘was not about race’
Whoopi Goldberg made headlines in January when she claimed that the Holocaust ‘was not about race’ because it involved ‘two groups of white people’
In an apology statement, Goldberg said: ‘On today’s show, I said the Holocaust “is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man.” I should have said it is about both’
Whoopi Goldberg found herself in hot water in January when she claimed that the Holocaust ‘was not about race’ because it involved ‘two groups of white people.’
The actress made the astonishing comments on The View and angered viewers as she argued that the deadly event has been an example of ‘man’s inhumanity to man.’
Goldberg started off by saying: ‘Personally I am shocked because given the story of Maus I am surprised that that’s what made you uncomfortable.
‘It’s about the Holocaust, the killing of six million people, but that didn’t bother you. This is white people doing it to white people so y’all go fight amongst yourselves but…’
Later, she carried on: ‘Let’s be truthful about it. The Holocaust isn’t about race. It’s not about race. It’s not about race. It’s not about race. It’s about man’s inhumanity to man. That’s what it’s about.’
Co-hosts Ana Navarro, Joy Behar and Sarah Haines all argued back but she continued: ‘But these are two white groups of people? You are missing the point. The minute you turn it into race, it goes down this alley. Let’s talk about it for what it is, it’s how people treat each other.’
Among those to have condemned her comments was Stop Antisemitism, a non-profit organization, which tweeted: ‘Newsflash @WhoopiGoldberg. 6 million of us were gassed, starved and massacred because we were deemed an inferior race by the Nazis. How dare you minimize our trauma and suffering!’
Navarro pointed out to her how the Nazis persecuted Jews and ‘Gypsies,’ targeting them as white supremacists.
Haines tried to point out that Nazis didn’t consider Jews ‘white,’ but it did not resonate with Goldberg.
Goldberg sparked outrage by repeating the claims in another interview later in the year
Furious social media users, including Holocaust survivor and author Lucy Lipiner, 89, immediately spoke out against the star
There was immediate backlash on Twitter from the likes of Piers Morgan and former The View co-host Meghan McCain.
In an apology statement, Goldberg: ‘On today’s show, I said the Holocaust “is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man.” I should have said it is about both.
‘As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, “The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people – who they deemed to be an inferior race.” I stand corrected.’
She continued: ‘The Jewish people around the world have always had my support and that will never waiver. I’m sorry for the hurt I have caused. Written with my sincerest apologies, Whoopi Goldberg.’
Goldberg eventually made a surprise early return to The View on February 14, two days before her entire two-week suspension was set to end.
However, the Hollywood star faced backlash over the same views in December after she doubled down on the claim that the Holocaust ‘wasn’t about race.’
Speaking to The Times of London, she stated: ‘They were killing people they considered to be mentally defective. And then they made this decision.’
The opinionated star also claimed to have been ‘canceled’ unfairly, despite still having her high-paying job.
The Times of Israel called her comments ‘incendiary’ while Holocaust survivors and Jewish journalists said she’d learned ‘nothing.’
‘Whoopi Goldberg continues to use the Holocaust as her punching bag. We told her that her comments harm us and she simply doesn’t care,’ it said.
Now, many of those who criticized her at the time of the original offense have called for her to be fired or to step down.
Ezra Miller: Troubled actor dealt with a string of arrests, accusation of abuse, allegations of grooming and charges of felony burglary
Ezra Miller, 30, was arrested several times this year for assault and burglary, and has faced accusations of grooming this year
Miller, a non-binary actor, played The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe – and was reportedly pulled into crisis meetings with Warner Bros over their behavior
Miller has appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to stealing three bottles of alcohol from their neighbor’s property in Vermont
Ezra Miller, 30, was a name that failed to stay out of headlines throughout 2022 thanks to multiple arrests.
The actor faced accusations of grooming children, was arrested for assault and burglary, and reportedly provided housing for a mother and three young children at an unlicensed cannabis farm in Vermont despite opposition from their father.
The film star, who uses they/them pronouns, was initially apprehended by authorities twice in Hawaii, including for disorderly conduct and harassment.
They were accused of shouting and swearing at customers as they sang karaoke at a bar in Hilo, as well as grabbing a microphone from a 23-year-old woman.
At a court hearing for the incident, they pleaded no contest to one count of disorderly conduct and paid a $500 fine.
Just weeks later in April, the Hollywood actor was accused of throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman, hitting her at a private party in Pahoa.
Later in the year, the parents of 18-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes, a Native American activist, then filed a protection order against Miller in North Dakota, accusing the actor of inappropriate behavior with her as a minor from the age of 12.
Her parents accused the actor star of grooming their child and other inappropriate behavior with her as a minor, which has been disputed by Tokata.
Then in June, a Massachusetts woman was granted a temporary order of protection against Miller on behalf of her child after a court determined that the minor faced a ‘substantial likelihood of immediate danger of harassment.’
The actor made headlines once again when it was then revealed that a mother-of-three and her young children had reportedly moved into the actor’s Vermont farmhouse, which is allegedly filled with guns and large quantities of marijuana.
The father of the children claimed that the mother, 25, left their island home in Hawaii with Miller in April, and took the children without his consent.
Video from April, obtained by Rolling Stone, reportedly showed at least eight assault weapons, rifles and handguns lying around the living room.
In April the star was accused of throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman, hitting her at a private party in Pahoa
A video resurfaced on Twitter of Miller appearing to choke a woman at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland, in April 2020
A rep for Miller said: ‘Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment’
A Vanity Fair expose also claimed that the actor ran a secret harem out of their Vermont ranch where the star asserted themself as a Jesus figure over a group of women.
Soon, the Fantastic Beasts star was hauled into a meeting with Warner Bros bosses as his ongoing public issues threatened to put the already delayed $250 million movie in jeopardy.
In August, Miller announced that they were seeking treatment for ‘complex mental health issues’ after Hollywood bosses were forced to reconsider their future in the DC’s cinematic universe.
They said in a statement: ‘Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.
‘I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life.’
In October, Miller appeared in Vermont Superior Court where they pleaded not guilty to stealing three bottles of alcohol from their neighbor’s property in Vermont.
Miller was told to stay away from neighbor Isaac Winokur and now faces 26 years in prison if they are found guilty of the charges, as well as more than $2,000 in fines.
Matthew Morrison: Fired after sending flirty message to a So You Think You Can Dance contestant
Matthew Morrison was fired last week as a judge on the Fox TV show So You Think You Can Dance amid allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a female contestant

Glee star Matthew Morrison was axed as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance for having an alleged inappropriate relationship with a contestant.
The contestant spoke with producers about the 43-year-old entertainer after he ‘reached out to her through flirty direct messages on social media,’ a source told People, noting that ‘they didn’t have sex’ and ‘never met up off-set.’
The source told the outlet the contestant ‘felt uncomfortable with his line of comments and went to producers, who then got Fox involved.’
Morrison ‘was fired after they did their own investigation,’ the source said, adding that ‘it was just messages that crossed the line.’
The actor and his wife of seven years, Renee Puente, 37, are parents to two children, son Revel James Makai, four, and 11-month-old daughter Phoenix Monroe.
Morrison announced his departure from his judging role last week, saying in a statement to the outlet: ‘After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly.
Short-lived: Morrison’s stint as a judge on the Fox competition ended swiftly
‘Having the opportunity to be a judge on So You Think You Can Dance was an incredible honor for me. Therefore, it is my deepest regret to inform you that I will be leaving the show.’
The Glee actor added: ‘I cannot apologize enough to all involved and I will be watching alongside you all on what I know will be one of the best seasons yet.’
Morrison later defended himself in an Instagram clip claiming he had ‘nothing to hide’ and denied accusations he behaved inappropriately.
‘It’s really unfortunate that I really have to defend myself and my family against blatantly untrue statements made anonymously, but I have nothing to hide,’ he began.
‘In the interest of transparency, I will read to you the one message that I wrote to a dancer on the show: “Hey it’s Matthew, if you don’t mind, would love to get your number and talk [about] some things.” The end.’
Morrison said he sent the text message in an effort to try and help get a mutual colleague hired by the Fox show.
He condemned a ‘world where gossip rules,’ saying it is destroying our society and we need to do better.
‘And no way I want this to take away from the show because dance has always been a unifying and healing modality and I genuinely wish all the contestants and my fellow judges all the best,’ he said.
Sam Elliott: Ripped online after criticizing Jane Campion for creating gay cowboy movie, Power of the Dog
Actor Sam Elliott in February had strongly criticized The Power of the Dog – and immediately faced widespread backlash
Elliott said his main gripe stemmed from the implications that the character Phil Burbank was a closeted gay man and that the movie over-critiqued the masculine image of the west
Campion (left) slammed Elliott (right) as ‘a little bit sexist’ and ‘a b***h’ for criticizing the movie’s theme of repressed homosexual desire
Actor Sam Elliott, 77, was forced to apologize over comments he made about Netflix film, The Power of the Dog, which criticized its ‘allusions to homosexuality.’
Elliott, known for his frequent appearances in Westerns, told a podcast in February that the cowboys in the film were like Chippendale dancers, and said he was disturbed by Benedict Cumberbatch’s portrayal of a closeted gay ranch hand.
‘That’s what all these f***ing cowboys in that movie looked like,’ he said on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. ‘They’re running around in chaps and no shirts. There’s all these allusions of homosexuality throughout the f***ing movie. Where’s the Western in this Western?’
The actor, who made his debut in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, then apologized for his remarks, calling them clumsy and offensive.
‘In trying to tell the guy, the WTF guy, how I felt about the film I wasn’t very articulate about it,’ he told a panel discussion at the Deadline Contenders festival, showcasing the television award season contenders. Elliott was invited to talk about his Western TV show 1883, a prequel to the popular hit Yellowstone.
‘I said some things that hurt people. And I feel terrible about that,’ Elliott continued. ‘The gay community has been incredible to me my entire career – and I mean my entire career, from before I got started in this town.’
Elliott eventually apologized for his remarks about the Oscar-winning film
He continued: ‘Friends on every level, in every job description. Up until today, with my agent, my dear friend and my agent of a number of years.
‘And I’m sorry I hurt any of those friends. And someone that I loved. And anyone else, by the words that I used.’
Elliott noted that he had praised director Jane Campion, who won the best director Oscar.
‘I also told this WTF podcaster that I thought Jane Campion was a brilliant director,’ Elliott said. ‘And I want to apologize to the cast of Power Of The Dog, brilliant actors all, and in particular Benedict Cumberbatch. I can only say that I am sorry. And I am. I am.’
New Zealand-born Campion, 67, on March 12 described Elliott as ‘a little bit sexist’ and ‘a b***h’ for criticizing the movie’s theme of repressed homosexual desire.
‘I’m sorry, he was being a little bit of a B-*-*-*-H. He’s not a cowboy; he’s an actor,’ she told Variety at the Directors Guild of America awards in Los Angeles.
‘The West is a mythic space and there’s a lot of room on the range. I think it’s a little bit sexist.
‘I consider myself a creator. I think he thinks of me as a woman or something lesser first,’ she added, noting that she takes a ‘more expansive’ view of the western genre.
Kim Kardashian: Slammed for damaging Marilyn Monroe’s iconic ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President’ dress
Kim Kardashian was accused of causing ‘irreversible’ damage to the strap and back area of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gown after she wearing it to the Met Gala this year
The Marilyn Monroe Collection shared ‘before and after’ photos of the dress on display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! to show the alleged damage
Monroe wore the custom Jean Louis gown to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to then-President John F. Kennedy on May 19, 1962
Kardashian was the first person to don the gown since it was worn by Monroe in 1962. She wrote it briefly on the red carpet before changing into a replica for the rest of the night
It was another year of controversy for Kim Kardashian as she made headlines for a range of different reasons in 2022.
The main scandal that followed the star through 2022 was based on her decision to wear one of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gowns to the Met Gala.
Kardashian faced further backlash for allegedly ‘damaging’ Monroe’s iconic ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President’ dress – as video and images emerged claiming to show rips and tears to the gown after the star wore it to the annual Met Ball.
A video shared online by Instagram user Darrell Rooney – which was then reposted by fashion-focused account Diet Prada – claimed to show the dress on display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Hollywood, where it was taken after it was loaned to Kardashian on May 2.
Monroe fans immediately claimed that the visible damage was sustained as a result of the dress being transported to New York and then worn by Kardashian on the red carpet.
Kardashian was loaned the gown by officials at the museum, where the 60-year-old dress has been stored in a temperature-controlled environment since it was bought for a record-breaking $5 million in 2016.
‘Great care was taken to preserve this piece of pop culture history,’ Ripley’s said in May.
‘With input from garment conservationists, appraisers, and archivists, the garment’s condition was top priority. Believe It or Not! no alterations were to be made to the dress and Kim even changed into a replica after the red carpet!’
Kardashian was the first person to don the gown since it was worn by Monroe in 1962. She admitted she lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the dress, but she was still unable to zip it.
The reality star added a white fur shawl to the look to hide that it was open in the back. She only wore the original dress for her red carpet appearance and changed into a replica before making her way into the Met Gala.
Kardashian lost a total of 16 pounds to fit into the gown made for specifically for Monroe to wear to serenade the president
Kardashian also got in trouble for claiming that women needed to ‘get you a** up and work’ in controversial Variety magazine interview with her family
Kardashian was also blasted by fans after she admitted images featuring Stormi Webster, Chicago West and True Thompson
Followers were shocked to learn she had faked in the images simply so it would fit her Instagram ‘aesthetic’
Speaking to Vogue about her iconic ensemble, the reality star insisted that she would never risk ‘any damage’ to the gown, and therefore took steps to ensure that she had a backup option before heading into the event itself.
Multiple fashion historians and costume experts decried the decision to allow the delicate piece to be brought out of its carefully preserved storage.
Weeks before the Met Gala, Kardashian landed herself in hot water after she made comments urging women to ‘get your f**ing a** up and work’.
Many people lambasted the reality star for what several called ‘tone deaf’ advice on what it takes to succeed.
‘I have the best advice for women in business. Get your f***ing a** up and work,’ she said defiantly. ‘It seems like nobody wants to work these days.’
Elsewhere, Kardashian sparked outrage on social media after finally admitting she Photoshopped her niece True’s face onto her other niece Stormi’s body in a series of Disneyland snaps because it suited her Instagram ‘aesthetic.’
The reality star first posted the pictures to her social media account in December 31 and fans were quick to accuse her of altering the images because Stormi had been seen wearing a similar outfit in a TikTok video posted on Kylie Jenner’s account on October 18.
The Photoshop fan theory went viral in early January and it was reignited when her sister Khloe admitted an April 12 visit to Disneyland was her daughter True’s ‘first’ visit to the theme park.
Days later, Kardashian finally admitted she had in fact digitally changed the image so that it would ‘perfectly’ match her Instagram feed.
Damon Albarn: Lambasted by Taylor Swift after claiming that she doesn’t write her songs
Blur frontman Damon Albarn incurred the wrath of Taylor Swift by downplaying her songwriting ability in an interview
The singer eventually apologized to Taylor Swift (pictured) ‘unreservedly and unconditionally’ for falsely calling her out for not writing her own music
The singer took to Twitter and tried to blame clickbait for the interest in his words – despite saying them in the interview
Blur frontman Damn Albarn was slammed by Taylor Swift and music fans after he claimed that she did not write her own hits in an interview.
Swift herself retweeted the Los Angeles Times piece about the interview which read: ‘Albarn also spills his thoughts on some of today’s chart-topping music artists.
“Billie Eilish? I think she’s exceptional. Taylor Swift? She doesn’t write her own songs.”
Swift then wrote: ‘I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging.
‘You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f****d up to try and discredit my writing. WOW. PS I wrote this tweet all by myself in case you were wondering.’
In the interview, the Parklife singer insisted he wasn’t ‘hating’ on Taylor but suggested collaborating with other songwriters was ‘very different’ to taking sole responsibility for her work.
Swift drew attention to the slight when she retweeted a Los Angeles Times piece about Damon’s interview (pictured in October 2021)
He said: ‘She doesn’t write her own songs. Co-writing is very different to writing. I’m not hating on anybody, I’m just saying there’s a big difference between a songwriter and a songwriter who co-writes.’
Albarn went on to praise Billie Eilish, who writes her songs with her brother, Finneas.
He added: ‘A really interesting songwriter is Billie Eilish and her brother. I’m more attracted to that than to Taylor Swift. It’s just darker – less endlessly upbeat. Way more minor and odd. I think she’s exceptional.’
Albarn – who has written all his own songs as a solo artist and for bands Blur and Gorillaz – went on to claim his comment had been ‘taken out of context and used as clickbait.’
He insisted he never wanted to ‘discredit’ Swift as he replied to her tweet, stating: ‘I totally agree with you. I had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait. I apologize unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand. – Damon’.
Record producer and songwriter Jack Antonoff, who has worked with Taylor for seven years, jumped to her defense just minutes after she tweeted.
‘If you were there … cool … go off. if not … maybe … shut the f**k up? the 37-year-old songwriter fired on his own Twitter.
Antonoff, 37, went on to say he has ‘never met Damon Albarn’ and says the artist has ‘never’ been to his studio, where he has worked on every one of Taylor’s albums since 2014.
‘But apparently he knows more than the rest of us about all those songs Taylor writes and brings in,’ he said.
Olivia Wilde: Accused of cheating on Jason Sudeikis with Harry Styles, amid drama surrounding the release of Don’t Worry Darling
Olivia Wilde made headlines for both her personal and professional life amid the release of her film, Don’t Worry Darling
Wilde was accused of beginning her relationship with co-star Harry Styles (pictured) while she was still in a relationship with Jason Sudeikis by a former employee
Happier times: Wilde and her ex, Sudeikis, pictured together in 2019
Olivia Wilde, 38, found her name trending for many reasons she wouldn’t have liked including speculation about her relationship breakdown with ex-fiancé, 47-year-old Jason Sudeikis, as well as rumors surrounding her film, Don’t Worry Darling.
In October, the star’s ex-nanny told DailyMail.com about what she claims really happened behind the scenes of Wilde and Sudeikis’ messy break-up after Wilde claimed that the split was a mutual decision in her cover story for Vanity Fair, published in September.
‘Our relationship was over long before I met Harry,’ she said in the interview, even going as far as to call claims that she left the former Saturday Night Live star for the younger singer and actor ‘horses**t.’
However, her former nanny, who cared for the couple’s two children Otis, eight, and Daisy, six, disputed Wilde’s statements, citing photos of Wilde and Sudeikis enjoying a day at the beach in September 2020 as proof.
‘Look at her ring on Labor Day Weekend [of 2020]. We were in Malibu on Labor Day Weekend,’ she told DailyMail.com.
‘This was right before she started seeing Harry. She’s wearing her engagement ring from Jason and laughing as she’s on the beach.’
The nanny went on to claim that Wilde had discussions in her presence about a future wedding to Jason as late as in October 2020, which was just a month before she reportedly began her relationship with then 26-year-old Harry, yet appears to be several months after she claims to have ended things with her partner.
The nanny added that the Booksmart director even wanted their daughter Daisy to serve as the flower girl at the ceremony.
The nanny opined that Wilde’s confusing timeline may have been for the benefit of her new boyfriend.
‘Olivia went on to defend herself and I think she did it for Harry because she wanted Harry to think things were over for a long time — and they weren’t,’ she claimed.
The former nanny claimed to DailyMail.com that Sudeikis was distraught when he discovered that Wilde had made her special salad dressing for Styles
The actress later shared the recipe from Nora Ephron’s Heartburn, a novel inspired by her divorce from the legendary journalist Carl Bernstein in the wake of his philandering
Wilde (seen in January 2020) also claimed she fired Shia LaBeouf from the film Don’t Worry Darling to protect his co-star Florence Pugh, but the actor denied those allegations
A post shared by PROBLEMATIC FAME (@problematicfame)
Wilde and Sudeikis went on to deny the nanny’s claims as ‘false and scurrilous,’ and the exes accused her of running an ’18-month-long campaign of harassment’ against their family.
The nanny also claimed Olivia once whipped up some of her ‘special salad dressing’ to take to the former One Direction while she was still with Jason.
After the controversy exploded on social media, several users shared their curiosity about Olivia’s special salad dressing causing it to become a trending topic for days.
Wilde and Sudeikis began their relationship in 2011, and the Horrible Bosses star proposed to the actress in 2013. Their son Otis was born the following year, while Daisy followed in 2016.
Since their split, Olivia and Jason’s conflicts have sometimes spilled out into the public eye. In April, the actress was served custody papers at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where she was addressing numerous high-profile film industry executives.
She found herself making headlines again in August after Shia LaBeouf appeared to provide email and video proof disputing her claim that she had fired him from Don’t Worry Darling – Harry Styles was eventually recast in the role.
A video of Wilde was leaked online that clearly showed the director begging LaBeouf to stay with the project, and she appeared to hint at tensions with his would-be co-star Florence Pugh by saying him leaving would be a ‘wake-up call to Miss Flo.’
However, Wilde has doubled down on claims she fired LaBeouf to protect his co-star, Pugh.
The filmmaker told Vanity Fair that her responsibility was toward the British actress who she alleges told her she was uncomfortable with the Transformers actor’s behavior.
Kanye West: Sparked outrage with multiple anti-Semitic rants which saw him lose out on lucrative business contracts
Kanye West’s unhinged behavior has seen the musician banned from social media platforms

West (left) appeared with white supremacist Nick Fuentes and said he ‘likes Hitler’ and that he ‘brought value’
Kanye West once again dominated headlines for increasingly outlandish remarks – including anti-Semitic statements – which earned him a ban from Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The rapper, aka Ye, heaped praise on Adolf Hitler and said people needed to ‘stop dissing the Nazis’ in a disturbing interview with far-right pundit Alex Jones earlier this month.
The father, who shares four children with Kim Kardashian, also denied the Holocaust, telling Jones and white supremacist Nick Fuentes, who also appeared on the InfoWars show: ‘The Holocaust is not what happened… he didn’t kill six million Jews, that’s just factually incorrect.’
The hitmaker – who first revealed his bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2018 – has since seen his lucrative business partnerships with the likes of Gap and Balenciaga end following outcry over his comments.
West claimed in October that he lost $2 billion in a single day as companies severed ties with the rapper following his anti-Semitic remarks (pictured in May)
West’s race-related controversies kicked off October 3 when he and conservative commentator Candace Owens donned tops that read ‘White Lives Matter’ during a Paris Fashion Week showcase for his Yeezy line.
The rapper then sparked global outrage after he tweeted on October 8: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE … The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also… you guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’
The rapper was later asked by Piers Morgan if he regretted the tweet and he said: ‘No – absolutely not, absolutely not … I fought fire with fire – I’m not here to get hosed down – that’s a different type of freedom fighter.’
He then clarified: ‘I will say I’m sorry for the people that I hurt.
‘I feel like I cause hurt and confusion, and I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through and that I use my platform where you say, “Hurt people hurt people,” and I was hurt.’
West’s name made further headlines after a group took to the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles saluting Adolf Hitler with banners that read, ‘Kanye is right about the Jews’ and ‘Honk if you know.’
Since then, the musician has faced backlash like never-before after being dropped by top talent agency CAA and Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez.
Elsewhere, fashion bible Vogue has decided not to work with him in the future as more and more influential figures and businesses distance themselves from the fashion designer.
According to Forbes, West is likely to lose his billionaire status following the termination of his huge business contracts with the likes of Adidas.
Nick Cannon: Fathered four children in the past year, bringing his current total to 12 kids with seven women
Nick Cannon, pictured in 2017 with his ex, Mariah Carey, and their now 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, has been expanding his brood in recent years
Cannon’s baby mama Alyssa Scott announced that the couple have welcomed a daughter together on December 14, his 12th child
In June of last year, Nick welcomed a son called Zen with Scott, but the baby tragically died at five months old
Nick Cannon became Hollywood’s most fertile star after he welcomed multiple children during the course of the year.
The actor and musician currently has had a grand total of 12 children by six women, including his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, with whom he shares 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
On December 14, Cannon welcomed his 12th child, a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon, with Alyssa Scott.
In June of last year, the star had welcomed a baby boy called Zen with Scott, whom he had met years earlier on his show, Wild ‘N Out.
However, Zen suffered health problems including a brain tumor and tragically died at just five months old after spending his last moments by the sea with his parents.
The latest addition to Cannon’s brood came after he welcomed daughter Legendary Love Cannon, with Bre Tiesi in June.
Former The Price Is Right model LaNisha Cole gave birth to the star’s ninth child Onxy Ice Cole Cannon in September.
In November, Cannon welcomed his 11th child, a daughter called Zeppelin
Just two weeks later, Cannon announced the birth of Baby No. 10, a son called Rise Messiah Cannon, by Brittany Bell, with whom he also shares son Golden, five, and daughter Powerful Queen, two.
In November, Cannon welcomed his 11th child, a daughter called Zeppelin, with Abby De La Rosa, who also has one-year-old twins with him called Zion and Zillion.
Cannon revealed this summer that he became so ‘depressed with the loss of my son’ that his plans to be celibate for the last few months of 2021 went by the wayside.
‘In December, everyone saw I was so down, everybody’s like: “I’m just going to give him a little vagina, that’s going to cure it all,”‘ he said on the Lip Service podcast.
Cannon recently confessed his regret that he is not able to give all his little ones enough quality time with their father.
‘Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,’ he said, according to Page Six.
He explained on The Checkup With Dr. David Agus that the root of his predicament was: ‘One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.’
