Gemma Owen shows off New Year’s Eve preparation at £4m mansion including huge dance floor

Love Island star Gemma Owen has given fans a preview of the Owens family New Year's Eve party as preparations get underway.

Guests will ring in the New Year at their sprawling estate, which is located near the village of Northop in Flintshire, north Wales. Situated amongst 42 acres of beautiful countryside, the luxurious Owens mansion is worth an estimated £4 million.

Gemma, daughter of ex-England and Liverpool footballer Michael Owen, 43, took to Instagram stories to show her two million followers the set up so far.

PrettyLittleThing ambassador Gemma shared a video taken inside a large marquee, which was lit with twinkly lights, showed a huge black and white chequered dance floor where guests will boogie the night away.

The 19 year old captioned the video "Day 2 of New Years Eve prep," alongside a disco ball emoji.

Another main feature in the marquee is its impressive bar, which glowed green in the dim party light.

The ample high tables and chairs dotted around indicate the Owens will be hosting an incredible amount of guests at their New Year's bash.

However, one person who won't be attending the soiree is Gemma's ex and fellow Love Islander, Luca Bish, following their split in November.

Gemma previously announced her split from Luca on Instagram, as she wrote: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for us both right now."

The young star went on: "Many of you have been on this journey with us from the beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start our new chapters."

The party comes days after Gemma's brother James was branded their dad's "twin" in a festive family snap.

Stood on the stairs of the family’s home, 16 year old James looked almost identical to his dad Michael when he was at the height of his career in the late 90s and early noughties.

Fans were quick to comment on the fact, with one writing: "No DNA test needed on your lad wow. Twins!!"

One even quipped: "Michael Owen’s son looks more like Michael Owen than Michael Owen."

Gemma also has two other siblings – sisters Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12.
