The Hamptons scene will start heating up over Memorial Day weekend.
Among tried-and-true favorites over the weekend, Montauk’s Surf Lodge will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a performance by Fisher and Hayden James.
Later this summer, Busta Rhymes, Aloe Blacc, Anderson Paak and Bob Moses are all scheduled to play the venue.
Also in Montauk, Bounce will open with parties hosted by model Tyson Beckford and former “The Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron. We hear Brody Jenner will also host a bash in June.
For the art crowd, pop artist Sandy Cohen will launch a new exhibition at Montauk Beach House. The show, “Put On Your Red Shoes,” will feature large paintings.
Over at Sole East, DJ Faze will play daily pool parties.
In Southampton, the Capri Hotel is ready to turn things up this summer.
The spot has hired a new chef, Andrew Molen, for its restaurant. A poolside menu will include local fish and heart-shaped pizzas for romantics.
Owner Michael Pitsinos has also added pickleball, table tennis and firepits on the premises. The resort, which appeared on “Summer House” and is known for its pool parties, will bring in DJs, too.
Psychedelic rock band Blac Rabbit will take over Canoe Place in Hamptons Bays with a Beatles tribute.
To read by the pool beyond Memorial Day, Cultured Magazine will publish two Hamptons issues this summer and will throw events with fashion brands Valentino, Alexander McQueen and MyTheresa.
